I've been to many massage businesses in Northern Virginia and I've settled on Annie's as my regular place. I like everything about it and highly recommend it. read more

I have had a dozen or more massages in the last 20 years, and Annie is THE BEST!! Why, you ask? Because she is attentive, focused on areas needed, and seemed to know exactly where the needed areas were. The place is clean and the deals are great! Just bypass Groupon and call her for the same great deals! You can not go wrong. The beds were soft, and I had no issues with the smell of the oils and lotions. If you're looking for a great massage for an hour at a great price, call Annie! read more

The new owner has reached out to me personally to apologize and promised better training for all new staff. I do appreciate that effort and must also concede that there are a few good massuese that work there. read more

They've had an amazing massage specialist Owen. One day I made an appointment with him and came, lay down waiting for him to come in. Someone came in a started massage and I knew it was not Owen! So they didn't tell me that Owen was no longer working there and I was very unhappy with massage. It is very unfortunate because with previous management they've had great massage specialists read more

Terrible customer service. Booked a 4pm appointment but they took someone else and told us to come back at 6pm. My massage was decent, but my daughter said hers was just someone rubbing lotion--definitely not a real massage. To top it off, they asked for a tip. I left $20 out of embarrassment but regretted it later. Even with the Groupon, the wasted time and tip made it not worth it. Never again! read more

Originally found this place through Groupon, and haven't left since! Annie's healthcare massage is the only reasonably-priced massage center I've found thus far within the DMV. The facility is clean, organized, and nicely-decorated. The staff are friendly, helpful, highly-skilled masseuses, and even offer you water bottles while you are waiting for your appointment to begin. What I really love about this establishment is that they tap into their Eastern origin, offering services such as Chinese Tuina and cupping, which even has credibility within the ancient Islamic traditions. I can honestly say that this establishment is not a massage center but truly a healthcare center, because it seems that the staff are trained holistically in how to provide various manipulative therapies aimed at healing bodies. Love Annie's and will definitely keep continuing to come back! read more

I've been here 4 times- however the service has gone down drastically. Today I received couple massage with my husband and our therapists were not professional at all. Owen is usually good but today, he was basically just rubbing oil on me without any pressure. I asked at least 5 times to go harder, but he didn't change anything at all. It was so stressful having to remind him every ten minutes with no change. On top of everything, therapists are not fluent in English, so it's really hard to personalize your massage. I spoke to the front desk about my experience today- but she charged us a full price and still offered that I leave tip for the therapists. They can really improve their customer service! read more

The scheduling was simple, they got me in quickly, and the ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately, this was one of worst massages I've ever had. The lady (not Annie) seemed inexperienced, tried to dig into my bones instead of my muscle, and didn't speak much English. Thankfully, she did accept my feedback when I asked her to stop massaging my bones (although I don't think she understood why I told her to stop). read more

Located in a small place off sudley road I wasn't sure whay to expect. But i was pleasantly surprised. The lace is cheery clean and peaceful. Summer gave me an excellent massage and their prices are more than fair. I highly recommend. read more

My husband and I have been going to Annie's healthcare massage for 2 years. We always see Summer and another masseuse (can't remember her name). Nonetheless, we absolutely loved their technique, care, and attention and believed they were a great team. I called to book a couple's massage and was surprised when we arrived and learned Summer was no longer employed there. We were greeted by two new employees and decided to give them an opportunity since I was in pain from an injury. That was by far the worst experience I've ever had. My husband's masseuse was very sweet but inexperienced. The lady I had was not only inexperienced, she was rough, unprofessional, and aggressive. We were not provided any cushions to lift our legs and relieve tension as it has been done in the past. I asked for them and only I got a cushion, my husband didn't. She spent over 10 minutes rubbing my back and neck over the bedsheet she used ultimately causing a burning sensation on my neck and shoulder. I asked for her to remove the bedsheet to avoid the burn. She then switched to lotion instead of the oil I've had used in the past. When the massage started, I quickly realized she had no idea what she was doing. She just violently shook my upper back in place without focusing on the knots or pain points. I let her continue to not interrupt my husband's massage. I politely asked her to massage the knot from top to bottom and she became irritated and even more aggressive. I asked Her to stop and to move to my lower back as she was hurting me. Once again, she got mad and outrageously pumped the lotion bottle to show her annoyance with me. She proceeded to jump on top of the bed without any notification. My legs were not separated enough for her to do that and as she jumped on top, she forced her knees in between my legs pinching my skin. She began rubbing my lower back focusing on the middle of my spine and did not move away from that without applying any proper technique or pressure. I ended up stopping the massage early because I felt my body becoming more tense as time went on and I realized I was now experiencing pain on my shoulder blade from her earlier brute handling on my upper back. I thanked her politely and asked her to stop. I asked my husband's masseuse to please continue his massage as I felt terrible that his got interrupted too. My husband did not get to enjoy his massage either as he was concerned about what was happening to me. Once his massage ended, we heard loud yelling in a foreign language which just added to the level of unprofessionalism I had experienced. Please stay away from this place as this is not the same quality of service we received when Summer was there. read more

I went here a few days ago for the first time ever & had a Groupon offer. Their customer service was AMAZING & the place was SO clean & set up so well. The massage was amazing & they even gave me a free little gift when I left! I will definitely be back - so glad I found this place! read more

Wish I knew about this place sooner! I was asked on my form, check-in, and by my therapist (Summer) what areas I wanted her to focus on. Interesting others did not receive the same, or the business has considered this feedback. Summer did a great job attending to all the spots discussed. Enjoyed the different oils and aromas. My husband did a reflexology and was also impressed with the service. read more

I have to say the place is amazing so quit the service is amazing and they do a great job doing massage love there work I recommend this place read more

I was cold and requested a blanket prior to the massage ever beginning so you should gather all facts before responding. Every massage therapist I have ever been to has either a heated table or provides real blankets. You're correct I did circle my legs as a problem area which she did not focus on even though I asked her to apply more pressure multiple times. She never massaged my quads or IT bands. It's A FULL body massage, so I don't understand why. I'm giving you all feedback so that you can improve and people can make an informed decision prior to going. I have had plenty of real massages with real massage therapist and I'm sorry but your staff needs improvements. If they are licensed and that's a big if, then they need to go back to a different school to expand upon their techniques. That massage was not worth my money or time. read more

Annie is the best and the staff is wonderful too! The whole experience was great, highly recommend!

If you are reading this review this is your sign to get that massage you have been thinking about. I am a plus size woman who is very insecure about my body, but Summer made me feel very comfortable and was very professional. I received the lymphatic massage, they do have you fill out a form when you check in and she customized my massage based on what my problem areas were. The entrance was as pictured very clean and welcoming. The room was dimmed, and was a nice temperature. The massage was perfect and Summer did an amazing job! The aromatherapy in the room, smells really good and if you are prone to migraines like me that is saying a lot that it didn't irritate my senses. I wish I added more time, I will definitely be coming back! read more
