After a 1 month back and fourth communication, it did not get fixed. The problem was the compressor which was covered under a 10 year LG manufacturer warranty program but had to pay for the labor ($390). After they installed the compressor, it was not cooling at all. I called the next day to tell him that and he said to wait 24 hours. Still did not work. He came back and said the coil line was leaking and wanted to charge me for that part but i called LG and they covered the part for me. After he installed it, it still did not work. Then the owner(service guy) said "go buy a new fridge because I don't know why this is not working". I then asked for a refund of the labor i paid him and he refused (receipt attached). Do not do business with this company. I suspect the owner is making correct diagnosis of appliances but then making unnecessary repairs to get money. I would avoid this company at all costs and look for someone more professional.

He only listened to the airflow, and incorrectly diagnosed the issue. He said he does not understand or have any knowledge of modern thermostats like the Nest, and prefers ones made 40+ years ago. That's fine for his opinion, but someone in his profession should understand the products they are being paid to service. He asked to use our tools, borrowed our step stool and asked for help holding things, and screwing and unscrewing the cover to the heat pump. He charged us $250 that he only accepts in a check form, and didn't even come close to fixing the issue. Our unit stopped working shortly after. It turns out our old system had an issue on the outside unit itself which was quickly diagnosed when we called someone else to come help us. It was an issue that would have been caught if someone had simply opened up the cover and looked inside which is what you would expect from an hvac technician. Not to mention the unprompted political rants in our house. Very weird, absolutely do not recommend. He gets one star for answering the phone and giving suggestions, all which turned out to be incorrect but it was a nice gesture.

The former can be a few hundred bucks, so I bought a capacitor for $20 to avoid the repair guys making two trips. Now that I look closer one of the only reviews was by someone that has 0 friends and this was the only review. That should not even be allowed, per the terms of yelp! Salvatore said they would arrive between 2-4. Two guys showed up an hour late with no phone call. They then slowly pulled out the unit and started with the cheesy sales tactics for the next 2 hours. One guy did the work (he was friendly and chatty) and the other tried to size me up the whole time, asking lots of personal questions. It was creepy; I kind of feel like we should change the locks on the house. During that two hours, they were not able to fix the problem and were barely able to assess the situation or tell me more than what I knew before they got there. They didn't have the proper equipment to test the problem and didn't even install the capacitor I bought (and can't return), but I paid the service fee. The next day the sales guy called with a quote for $576 to fix the microwave. Umm; no thanks. I doubt their ability to fix it, anyway. To make matters even worse, the oven has not worked properly since. It was working perfectly before that, and now nothing gets cooked enough. What horrible service! I would completely avoid these guys. Looks like we're going to get that double oven that my wife wants.

They came out with the parts once they arrived. Got everything installed then we realized that unfortunately the ice machine that they got in was a faulty part so they re-ordered and came back out a second time and now it works perfectly. I was not charged any extra for additional trips. They took care of it and made sure it was working. While I hope that I don't have any future issues with appliances but if I do I know who to call and recommend.
