She helped me prioritize areas that needed a bit more TLC, and suggested healing scents for my aromatherapy when I was pretty clueless as to what to mix (lavender and eucalyptus, try it) Even before I went to the table, I texted all my friends that we should all come here. She has an expert hand and was not defeated by my knots. I was so well taken care of and never once felt uncomfortable or unable to express myself. She also frequently checked in on me, responded in a nonjudgmental way to feedback and though she was firm (which I wanted), I still fell asleep! I am happy to make her my regular massage therapist and hope you will too!

I paid for a 90-minute Swedish massage and she actually massaged me for the full 90 minutes (which we all know is hard to find)! The massage she gave was phenomenal and very relaxing. I am 8 weeks out from lumbar spinal surgery, and having found Theraquest online as opposed to…read morethrough a referral, I was half expecting to fill out a brief medical questionnaire that was summarily ignored by the therapist. Quite the contrary, Sam and staff spent time to understand my recent medical history, what my specific symptoms were, and what sort of therapeutic relief I was looking for. During the session, the communication about areas of concern and how I was feeling was fantastic. While I may have arrived quite nervous about doing anything to derail my healing progress and recovery, I left feeling highly confident that I was in the capable hands of a team of clinicians who have experience with similar injuries and post-surgical recoveries (and later that day, was feeling better than I had in weeks). Highly recommended, and have already scheduled additional visits.

While my therapist and Sam were very kind, I would advise people with serious medical conditions to…read morepractice caution. I am three months post-op hip reconstruction and went to Therquest for pain in my jaw and sciatica pain affecting my back and operative side. I repeatedly told the therapist that I had an operation on the sciatic side and wrote it down. She proceeded to place enormous pressure on the operative side, which I should have known to speak up about. However, I trusted her as a professional. When I started to panic and reminded her that the side she had been working on was the operative side, I could tell that she was flustered. It has been three weeks and I am still in tremendous pain (think bursitis and tendonitis affecting my groin, glute, and abbductor) that has set back my recovery by two months or more. Prior to going to Therquest, I was set to be off crutches by the end of this month. Now, I will be lucky if I can walk without crutches by September. The therapist should have practiced caution and asked more questions if she was not sure which side was the operative side. It is my fault for trusting that she was a professional. I am set to start medical school next week and will be going in a wheelchair thanks to Therquest. I would pay a million dollars to be back in the condition I was in prior to going here. I will say I did feel relief the next day in my shoulders and neck so he must have done something right. I definitely would not pay their posted prices but the groupon price was reasonable. She asked what pains I had and what I would want her to concentrate on. I mentioned I had a very sore shoulder which really bothered me. She said no worries. She proceeded to start the massage and she concentrated on my shoulder. She mentioned the massage may not be pleasurable but by the time we finish my shoulder would feel better. I was a bit skeptical but we proceeded. She was amazing. She walked me through the whole procedure making sure I was not experiencing any pain but by the time she finished my range of motion was tremendously increased. I can't believe how good I feel. She probably saved me from going under the knife to have my shoulder repaired. Thank you so much Emily. I will definitely be back to get a more enjoyable massage but trust me I enjoy the fact I have a better range of motion with my shoulder. Do I recommend this place?, ABSOLUTELY!!!! I will be back. Feel so good right now.
