Strait-forward and honest communication throughout project from Derek and Nicole was great. I have a small home in an historic district that needed structural repair, new siding and trim, and other attention. Derek's willingness to approach the project in sections to help me determine affordability options was a great stress reliever. The quality of work, his team of professionals, and his willingness to help navigate the historic requirements and restrictions was amazing! They worked to schedule-as unpredictable Adirondack weather allowed, and kept in close contact to keep me updated. I had looked into using LaFountain Builds earlier, but when I saw the level of work they do, I was certain I could not afford them. Big mistake! You definitely get what you pay for! I wasted a great deal of money and time going with someone else first that wasn't able to do the work and made things worse. Can't recommend LaFountain Builds enough! My house looks new and historically accurate at the same time!

Derek and his team demonstrated why they are considered master carpenters in the North Country. Their attention to detail is second to none--whether it was the precision of the finish work or the way they handled the structural elements of the remodel. They took our vision and elevated it, maintaining a clean, professional job site throughout. Derek was often able to make recommendations on upgrades such as insulation and wiring that will save us money in the future. If you want a contractor who communicates clearly and delivers high-end, bespoke craftsmanship, look no further than LaFountain Builds. We couldn't be happier with our 'new' home

Wow! What a HUGE success our retaining wall pathway project has been! I have posted "before" and…read more"after" photos as proof of the superb results, but they reveal only indirectly the superb process and efforts through which these results were obtained. David Burton produced a superb design. Jeremiah and Sam busted their butts, through two very hot and humid weeks. They were always polite, never in the way, and highly meticulous. In my opinion, they are also highly skilled, operating excavators and other machinery expertly in tight and difficult terrain. Every time (and there were several) that I worried about a placement or a height or grade or whatever, Jeremiah stopped what he was doing, listened patiently, and then took whatever measure to allay my fears. He was kind, considerate, and responsive, as was Sam. It's fair to say that Distefano Landscaping overall did a superb job for us in every imaginable way. And the job came out right around the quoted price, even though there were some bumps (like buried stumps) along the road.

Having a house painted for the first time in maybe 20yrs and at the same time completely changing the color I must admit that my nerves were getting at me. Bjorn brought and exercised his vast knowledge of color, process, and products to help me feel comfortable and confident in my decisions, and his work. Bjorn staffs an experienced and professional crew that take true pride and interest in what they do. The whole scope of the job was seamless; quick, clean, and concise, with a high level of communication throughout. The transformation was astonishing and beyond my expectations. While on site I personally witnessed several neighbors walk by and complement the crew on the progress and quality of work, some went as far as genuinely thanking them for making the house look so good; my sentiment exactly. If you are looking for the highest quality paintwork done on budget at a competitive price look no further than A Job Well Done.

Within a half hour of calling late last Saturday evening, the PuroClean technician was at the door. Before leaving that night, he gave us his personal cell number and said to call him if we had any questions the next day - Sunday. We called; he returned our calls twice and answered all of our questions. And the same technician returned Monday morning and the next several mornings as well to check on the dryness. It wasn't clear early on whether there would be insurance coverage, so we appreciated that PuroClean was thoughtful in determining which sections of drywall, built-in cabinetry and flooring needed to be removed to expedite drying. We spoke several times with the PuroClean office personnel in the following days, and they, too, were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If we ever have another mishap, we would absolutely call PuroClean. Just very nice people providing remarkable, competent service.
