I called another garage door service who took my name and number and said the owner would get back to me right away...they never did. When I called Mkm, the owner picked up the call, gave me a price and sent his son over the next day (who arrived at exactly the time he said he would) to replace a broken spring. I don't know about value...I've never had to have this type of service before. But they were courteous, prompt and clearly qualified. All that goes a long way with me! So I highly recommend them. By the way... they charged me $385 to repair a broken spring on a double, non-insulated garage door. read more

Highly recommend! Quick, professional, clean-cut, very knowledgeable of garage doors. They repair in an honest way rather than just say needs replacement, which I truly appreciate. I've now knocked the door off the runners twice: About 5 years ago, I backed into the door while it was still going up. Then, in attempting to DIY, it fell completely off and onto the garage floor! I was certain we were in for a complete replacement, however they were able to fix and rehang the door and we couldn't even tell there was an incident. Then just this week, left the hatch up on my SUV and raised the garage door... which caught and knocked it back off the rails again. Again, I got friendly prompt service. They've also been out twice to replace springs as each side has aged and needed replaced. They also sold us a keypad and showed us how to install it. Great business. My only complaint is about the grease used to lubricate; for a few weeks, excess grease would come out of the mechanism from time to time and onto the garage door. I was able to wipe up each time, but once, some did get on my daughter. But later, I told the owner about it, and he was gracious about my concern. read more

Called about an issue with my garage door opener that I was unable to resolve. Was told I'd get a call shortly about setting up a time to have the opener checked later that day or the next day. I received the call less than an hour later. I was told they were in the area and were headed for a call and would be at my home after they were done. About an hour later, they arrived and began checking out the opener. It turned out to an issue with the door springs and the travel on the opener. They adjusted both and returned the door to functioning properly. There was no push to replace either. Charge was very reasonable. I'll call them if I have future needs and highly recommend them to anyone in Rock Hill. Can't explain why it shows me being in San Francisco. read more
