Have visited MK Ranch multiple times and have had nothing but great experiences with all of them. The staff is great! The owner was there mingling from table to table and even served a few of them. There is live music to enjoy and the atmosphere is great, even kid friendly. The food is excellent! I've had multiple menu items and enjoyed all of them. Came here for a family birthday and it was great- the service was amazing for the large group. Drinks were great. Vegetarian options were limited, but overall still a great time. MK Ranch has been highly talked about since news broke about a new restaurant coming. The establishment is awesome looking! It's spacious inside with high ceilings, an open floor plan, a nice stage for a band, southwestern décor, two bars, two pool tables, and much more. PROS - My double smash burger was very good. I've actually been craving it since. I didn't need any condiments; the burger was great as is. The fries were just as good, nicely seasoned and served fresh. Our server was awesome. I can't recall her name, but I have to give her credit for being so attentive, checking in on us, and refilling our drinks without us having to ask. The price for three people wasn't bad either- three dinners, drinks, and an appetizer came to $58. CONS - It's a new place, so there will most likely be some kinks. They did warn us that the kitchen was backed up. We ended up being there for almost four hours. Our appetizer (nachos & cheese) took over an hour, and our dinner also took more than an hour. Honestly, the portion size of the burger and fries was smaller than expected. I wouldn't mind that usually, but I was still surprisingly hungry afterward; highly unusual for me, as I typically bring leftovers home. I don't expect the wait to always be this long, and I would return. It's *very* new. Once they work their "kinks" out such as food wait time & other issues customers have mentioned, I have faith this place will be another great food joint for Warrenton. read more

We were seated right away. Service was slow to start. Took a while to get our appetizer of wings. Then the food came out before we finished the wings. Wings were pretty decent. My wife order the pulled pork with a mashed potato. I had the smash burger with onion rings. The onion rings were pretty good. Probably the best food of the night. The burger was okay and my wife said the pork was fatty and the bun was soggy and didn't have enough BBQ sauce. Can't say I'll be beating down any doors to come back. Ambiance was nice and they had Trivia with a Christmas theme. Menu selection was pretty sparse. For a steak house they didn't have a full selection of cuts of steak. Overall I give it okay rating. Hopefully it improves, otherwise I can't see it lasting for the long term. read more

I really wanted to give them a second chance by I was not impressed First they had baked potato skins and when it came out they were like a baked potato with very little cheese and hardly any bacon they were junky Then I ordered the rib eye and there was so much better on it that it was all you taste My husband and daughter stakes were the same no real flavor And it was very expensive Taxes Roadhouse is so much better and cheaper believe it or not .. First time visiting and we were unimpressed with what we experienced. The place looks nice and fun but...How can a restaurant be open less than a month and already have poor service and nearly everything not available on the menu?!?!?! When we finally ordered (waitress seemed like she had other things to do besides wait on us), she told us they were out of other things as well and just ask and she will tell us if they have it We had ordered a tea and water. No drinks are listed on the menu and we had to ask a hostess the price so we could pay and leave. Maybe in a year (if they're still open) they will have it together and we will try again. read more

I will preface with, I was so excited for this place. The idea of somewhere in Warrenton to sit down, get a good steak or a burger and a drink or two sounded amazing. The first disappointment, as my wife and I entered just before 6pm we were told they were unable to accommodate the full menu and as a result they provided us with a "late night" menu which consisted of maybe 10 items. Of those 10 items, 2 were available, the flatbread pizza and chicken strips. We decided to stay and give it a shot, we ordered a flatbread pizza, chicken strips with tater tots and a mixed drink. We waited 30 minutes to receive our water and Pepsi, and an extra 12 minutes for my mixed drink (cactus cooler) An hour after waiting for our food, we spoke with the manager on duty who told us of a known issue with their POS system which caused orders to not be sent to the kitchen. (At this point we were the only customers in the restaurant) After an hour and 20 minutes of waiting we finally received our food which was sub par, 4 soggy and chewy chicken strips without the tater tots and mediocre flatbread pizza. Was definitely not worth the wait. While waiting for our food, kitchen staff were sitting at the bar, consuming alcohol, playing on the gambling machines and complained about working when they were finally told about our order which needed made. Our complaints were brought to the managers attention who defended their lack of professionalism stating they are just "dumb teenagers". Overall, not a great experience and I do not plan on returning unless this place fixes its very evident issues. read more

Great experience! The dining area was moderately busy. Our waitress, Shelby, was attentive, brought drink refills before we asked, etc. Pros: We were seated, ordered and received our food in a timely manner. The food was hot and tasty. The buns on our burgers were toasted - love that! The fries were lightly seasoned and perfect. Looking forward to trying the onion rings on our next visit. Cons: no complaints from us. There were a couple of tables with the sunlight directly in some people's eyes. We will be back and recommend giving this place a try! read more

We were excited to try this place for our family's March birthdays. There were 13 of us there for lunch today. The place wasn't crowded, only about 6 tables total. Our server was very nice, and I think she was trying her best. Drinks came out pretty quickly, then we placed our orders. Five of us got the MK chicken sandwich, 2 requested grilled and 3 requested fried. I ordered fried, and was given a grilled sandwich, so I sent it back to get the correct one. My son, who ordered grilled never got a sandwich at all. A man came out of the kitchen and said he didn't have time to defrost another chicken breast and offered to make something else. My son told him no, not to bother since the rest of us had our food. The same man told us not to blame our server (we didn't, it's obviously a kitchen problem). Our poor server brought out everything herself with no help at all, which I thought was awful. The food came out pretty hot, but we found it average at best. We all noticed our server was crying too. Turns out someone in the kitchen yelled at her. I hope this restaurant gets its act together and soon, or it won't last. It's a big venue and it looks like they have entertainment there on weekends. Just ok. May try again. Lots of things on menu are marked out with black marker. Ordered nachos. Description didnt mention meat. We were offered a choice of beef or chicken. Chose beef. A very long time later the nachos arrived with no guacamole and very little meat. My husband counted 4 pieces of ground beef. Waitress finally brought a drink refill. Another long while passed before the waitress returned to tell us the kitchen was out of what my husband ordered. About half an hour after that I received my salad which was good. We only ate some of the nachos and when asked, explained they didnt taste good, had very little meat and were missing the guacamole. She offered to bring more meat but we declined. walked in thinking this place would be amazing! but after we sat down looking at the menu there was lots of stuff on the menu that wasn't available. Service was very good our waitress came and checked on us many time to see if we needed any refills or anything. After getting our food (we ordered southwest chicken salad, rancher burger, and nachos.) Presentation wasn't the best but portions were pretty big. Burger was rare just charred on the top, Brown Lettuce in the nachos and salad and plus on the nachos the parchment paper was stuck to the cheese on the nachos. Took 45 minutes to get our food. Waitress was attentive. It was the kitchens fault. Two of our steaks were supposed to be Medium and they were Rare. Mine was ordered to be Medium Rare and it was RAW. I was really hoping this new place would be great. But after our first and probably only visit, we found out that this place is not. The menu has about half of the items UNAVAILABLE, the items that are available are not great. Ordered a 12 ounce Ribeye with marbling for flavor, the so called marbling took over about 40% of the steak. No baked potatoes, you get a choice of fries or tater tots, no thanks. The baked beans are from a can and cold. The salad is some kind of California garbage. Of the people in there (about 20) all I heard were complaints. The waitress took 25 minutes to bring us a menu, ice tea was warm with no ice, Then it took another hour to get our meals. It was not even busy. This place needs a new menu, a floor manager, a cook.
