She was a real blessing since our original photographer cancelled on us last minute and left us in a terrible place. My husband and I had a great time taking photos and she had such great ideas. This was everything we hoped for and her photos came out capturing our daughter's smile ; personality; the memories of her years at U of A. We even had some photos taken in the desert to show what going to college in Arizona truly embodies ! We wanted some photos taken with her boyfriend and her bestie in their cap and gowns too; that was not an issue! Jennifer has a lot of patience and goes over everything with you when you pre - hire and post - hire her. If you have questions , she is quick to respond ... I had many! My daughter wanted A LOT of 'props' and poses and I wanted to make sure we didn't spend twelve hours in the heat , for example, baking doing 150 repetitive scorpions for the perfect shot ! Jennifer also allowed for a few changes in clothing / shoes for different places on campus and to the 'golden hour ' at Sabino Canyon.. she even brought a beautiful antique pink velvet chair for the shoot! We were allowed to pick a lot of shots to have edited .. there were so many great ones to choose from , it was hard! Then the prints you can actually purchase from Jennifer's site are very good quality and came in two days , which was amazing as I used them at Alexa's graduation celebration at our country club and her guest book! The wallets were great for the announcements & thank you notes ! We are so impressed! Prefect in so many ways ! You get these memories once in a lifetime.. don't take the chance of not having them be all they should be .. We didn't find Jennifer Lee to be over the top expensive or unreasonable and she spent a lot of time making sure she got the perfect shots !

Not only did we actually enjoy the photoshoot (which is saying a lot, considering several family members really don't like having their picture taken), but the photos are wonderful and really capture our family so well. From Cody's great communication prior to the shoot, to the ease with which he facilitated the session and the variety of shots he took (not to mention working with us a little longer than the promised time to make sure everyone was happy), to the turnaround time and the quality of the pictures, I can't say enough good things about him. Mark came highly recommended until lately. The communication was pretty good until I sent the…read morecamera. I paid promptly but don't feel as I got the same treatment. There were a few things wrong with the camera. Some were fixed. One wasn't. The big problem was the shutter blades sticking. That was some dried up lubricants. Those were cleaned up well. The lenses and some of the other things were cleaned up nice. The one thing that didn't get addressed is the shutter speed knob. It's very tough to turn on the lowest and higher shutter speeds. That was the second big reason that I sent the camera to him. Unfortunately, it seems that it was not addressed well. It's still very tough to rotate. The camera took an about 4/5 months to get back to me. I inquired about once a month or more without responses. I don't mind that it took 4-5 months. Leica takes at least 6 months to turn a lens. But the communication left me with the feeling I'd never get it back. One day it just showed up. No notes, no emails. What he did fix was fixed well. He mentions fixes having being warrantied. I just don't want to trust the round trip.

That same day I submitted a Venmo payment for the total he gave via email, of $355.00. He said that for some reason the payment would not clear until December 1st and could not ship until the payment cleared. On November 22nd the money had cleared my account and Venmo showed the transaction was complete. I emailed Mr. Hansen and received no response. I have since followed up with Mr. Hansen on 12/06/25, 1/07/2026, and again on 1/25/2026, and have not received any response, nor have I received my camera back. At this point Mr. Hansen has outright STOLEN a family heirloom and $355.00 from me. Mr. Hansen, if you read this, I just want my grandfathers camera back. I won't even dispute the payment, I just want the camera.
