two menus on a wooden table

Came here for a late dinner (9pm, restaurant closes at 10pm on a Saturday). I was seated pretty quickly as it was fairly empty and service was quick. I got the Hibachi Chicken, which came with house salad and miso soup, as well as a Philadelphia Roll. The house salad and soup were pretty good- the soup had a nice umami flavor to it and the salad was basic, but fresh and paired will with the sweet dressing. The Philadelphia roll tasted about as good as it looked- nothing special, didn't feel like it was fresh and would not get again. The Hibachi Chicken was ok- the noodles had some good chewiness to them, but the chicken and shrimp were slightly tough. The veggies were also cold... Overall, 3/5, ok food and ok service.

For a Friday early evening, it was a ghost town in here. Standard hibachi experience. I felt the serving size was not as big as I've had before at similar restaurants. The sushi roll was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Great experience overall. The chef was nice and inviting. Can't say the same about the rest of the stafff

Overall dining experience was disappointing at best. The sushi was poorly made, service by our waiter was inconsistent and dismissive. I ordered a classic spicy tuna roll that came out with large areas of rice missing on the roll and the spicy tuna was not spicy, rather bland and old. The udong presentation was appealing but the broth was too plain with little to no flavor. If you're looking to satisfy a quick craving, this place will do. If you're taking friends or family out to a nice Japanese restaurant, go elsewhere.

My toddler received an interesting wiki stix toy that we have never seen or played with before. It was nice to not get the usual coloring pages and crayons. We loved the decor, this is such a lovely restaurant. The octopus carpaccio was amazing, I loved it. The lobster rolls were good. We had the seafood pot for two as well., it was very flavorful. Overall we enjoyed this place. Food took longer than expected, but it's probably because it was super busy even on a Tuesday night. All the tables were full so I can only imagine the kitchen was busy af. Definitely recommend!!!

For appetizers we got four oysters and two clams, which tasted okay, just regular raw bar items. We also got a salad, the portion was a bit small but tasted good. For entree, we got a seafood pasta for $38 and a sole Milanese for $28. The seafood pasta comes with four shrimps and four scallops, so I would say the portion was good for the price. We liked the sauce but the texture of the shrimp seemed off it's a bit crunchy. Our server recommended the fish and it was good. Service: 5 stars Our server was nice and welcoming. The manager came by and greeted our table as well. We didn't expect this level of service at a tourist restaurant. Ambiance: 5 stars

Tucked away in the Corrigan Financial complex just off Aquidneck you will find this awesome sushi/ramen factory! The service is definitely on point and very attentive to your needs. Quickly sat on a Saturday afternoon and took a look over the specials menu and just had to try the Sushi Pizza. Interesting concept and very filling, hot starter for more than just yourself for sure. The sushi rice is fried to create the base and then the toppings with protein selection is applied. I tried it with spicy salmon and it was good, little light with protein, but flavorful. For my main I went with spicy miso ramen which comes with three tempura shrimp as well. It was a hefty meal for one and needless to say I brought home my future meal as I could not make it through everything. The broth had a light to medium spice level and hit the ramen spot. There is a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails as well, I opted for some green tea which was hot and warmed me up perfectly. The vibe is relaxing and casual to easily enjoy group conversations if you have company with you. There is bar seating along with general seating booths or tables throughout the restaurant. They did however introduce more western food than I'd really care for honestly. I don't go to a Chinese buffet for mashed potatoes and gravy. I appreciate they increased the size of the popular dishes so they will always be available when you get up to have more. They have brought back the steak option for the hibachi which hasn't been there for about 6 years so good on them for that! The flavors were pretty good but some of the dishes seemed a bit cold. Over all the restaurant looks just like you'd have expected to see it before they closed. (Personal story) This was where I ate my first thanksgiving dinner upon moving up from PA and one of the first places I brought my GF when she finally moved up. This became a tradition where we would go eat lunch and then go to the movie theater for a matinee and that was our date tradition for years until the theatre folded for a pickle ball court... I was so worried this place would never reopen and I am so so glad it did. We can still have at least part of our tradition preserved! Thank you Umami.
