The service was good but I wish the food was better. Me and my friends came in after the gun show for lunch. I wish it could had been better. We order a few things and mostly was disappointed. We felt the spicy tuna roll didn't have any flavor and it was more of the fried crunchy panko roll. The tuna sashimi was off a lot. As well I order an Alaska roll and they gave me a salmon skin roll. Don't use Uber Eats for delivery. Food arrives cold and they will not refund you. Go to the restaurant, it's lovely, quiet and clean. Staff is very friendly as well. Took off one star for Uber Eats because the charge more and can't address an issue without a generic response. We ordered take-out from here and it is one of the better Japanese places we've been to so far. We got a chicken teriyaki bento box which comes with chicken, rice, two fried shumai, California roll, and a side. All of the lunch items come with an option of a salad or soup (wonton, miso, hot and sour, egg drop). The bento was decent overall. We also got the three roll lunch special with an eel avocado roll, Alaska roll, and shrimp tempura roll. The rolls were pretty good. We also had the shrimp pad thai lunch and a General Tso chicken lunch. The pad thai did not have the right flavors to it but I was happy to see that there was a good amount (6) of medium sized shrimp. They are only doing take-out as of August 2022. Hands down the best place for sushi around Oaks/Tropper/West Norriton. It's not just "the best" in certain aspects, but it's the best in quality, price and presentation. I love any of their sushi and/or sashimi entrees, especially for dining in; their presentations are just gorgeous. The fish come in thick piece that melt in your mouth. It's such a pleasant experience every time. My friends have had their Chinese entrees and they weren't as special as their Japanese portion of the menu. To me they are typical American-Chinese cooking. But I get it they have to please everyone, which I'm grateful so I can bring friends who don't care for sushi. Service is always friendly and pleasant. Takeout is the tricky part. Wait time is hit and miss. They do provide a beeper and hand sanitizer so you can wait in the car. read more

This is my goto place at work. I need to find a goto place at home this good! Nice restaurant, free parking, good service and great food! I go here at least once a week. I don't do seafood, but I love the teriyaki here, both the steak and chicken. What steals the show for me is their delicious Ginger dressing. It's so good I asked for the recipe and was surprised that it is mostly fruits and veggies blended into a thick and delicious addition to any salad! Also good is their house brewed ice tea, give it a shot and tell me you don't agree! Finally...They have really nice bathrooms...I'm sure George Costanza would agree! Great place for lunch, the prices are amazing. I believe there is a constant price war with other local Asian places, so you can get some amazing lunch specials here for under 10$. The staff is great, very nice, and the owner is quite knowledgeable about food\nutrition. I didn't know what to expect when we stopped in here after a movie on a Saturday night. The place was completely empty, which worried me as what we could expect. Yet reviews were good. But it was the last shopping weekend before Christmas, so maybe people were still out shopping? At any rate, my fear was quickly dissipated as dinner and Service were both very good. My sister had a sushi combo plate which was generous in size and proportion. She was very happy with the sushi choices (yellowtail, tuna and salmon) plus a roll, and the taste of everything. I didn't feel like rice, so I asked that the rolls I ordered be made without. They were very accommodating. Everything came out tasty, and absolutely beautifully presented! Interesting funky, modern decor. Great service and we didn't feel pushed out even though we stayed past closing. The sushi was good and fresh and the menu had a variety of different rolls. Note if you want brown instrad of white rice for your sushi, you'll need to pay an extra $1 per roll. I had the Three roll dinner of tuna, salmon, shrimp and avocado. Worst sushi I've ever had. With the great reviews was expecting at least good. In town for an event so this was first time here (picked it based on proximity and Yelp reviews). Got 2 specialty rolls and seaweed salad. The rolls just seemed off. The color of the fish didn't look right and they didn't taste right. Not rancid or anything just not fresh. Went for lunch and ordered the Ama ebi which was very reasonably priced at $7 for 2 shrimp (most other places sell it for around $10). The heads of the shrimp were lightly fried or baked and stuffed with soy seasoned sushi rice. As an entree I ordered the Thai basil with shrimp. Again very reasonably priced at $6 or $7 (cant remember) with a soup or salad. The flavor of the Thai basil was good but a little on the sweet side. I asked for some chili garlic sauce (no sambal) to fix this. Overall a good experience similar to Kumo in Collegeville but a bit less expensive. read more

Visited Mizu for the first time and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly by our server , seated immediately and he guided us through the menu. I was accompanied by a picky eater who loved everything! We had chicken and broccoli , general Tso chicken sweet potato rolls and fries. The food beautifully plated and was delicious! Everything was served piping hot and timed perfectly. The dishes were packed with flavor. Even the fries were great. I just wish we had room for dessert. The atmosphere is really nice. We had the spicy tuna, spicy scallop, yellowtail and jalapeno, and eel and avocado. My favorite was the spicy scallop. It had a great amount of spicy and crunch. Could have had another one, easily. The yellowtail needed a little something for me, so I quickly went into the kitchen and made a spicy mayo (add sriracha) and it was great. The edamame was a bit mushy, but it was take out, so i understand it continued to cook after it was packaged, but the portion is large.
