They tried to scam us. Twice lol. Ordered a blue crab roll. They brought out a roll and said it was the crab roll. I thought it looked funny, when I pulled out the meat of the sushi, it was cooked shrimp. Told the owner, she acted like they ordered the wrong roll and reordered the crab roll. (There is no shrimp roll on the menu except for tempura shrimp. Which is deep fried shrimp. They purposely put cooked shrimp to try to look like crab meat) When the new "crab" roll came out later.. it still looked weird. I pulled out the meat and it was imitation crab meat. I told our waitress the menu said blue crab, but we got imitation crab. She said correct it's imitation crab. LOL So I asked her to take it off the bill we don't want it. The owner comes by and goes "oh you must've wanted the blue crab roll right?" Awesome sushi! I had the negi hama roll. The sushi rice was awesome! The flavors all came out balanced. The fish was soft. The spice not overwhelming along with the ponzu. The wasbi wasn't heavy on the horseradish taste but more sweet. I got hot green tea and it came out drinking temperature which was nice since I could immediately drink it. Absolutely never coming back. I'm a local as in 2 blocks away. I come to this place twice a week. My bill is never bellow $100. I always come on Wednesdays and Fridays. I come here because I love the sushi rolls and Japanese miso Ramen we have the same waitress. She always nice and friendly. Today we were kicked out, discriminated against. Susie states a costume last time complained about my toddler making too much noise. So this restaurant is not family friendly. Susie said "yes hi-chair but shhhh" my son has a disability. It is unreasonable for a child to be absolutely quiet. I guess we are never coming back. We asked to have the owner info but were refused and asked to leave. I have felt some kind of discrimination at other times. For example The sushi chefs gave complementary Albacore to other people of his own race but not my family. It didn't bother me then because we were done with our meal but if you are giving a complementary Food to one person, you have to at least offer to the other table who probably is spending the same amount of money. Came in for lunch on Saturday, the staff was really friendly and seated my husband and I very quickly! The restaurant was very clean and the servers were attentive. The food was superb and the portion sizes were so generous. We got two rolls, the Negi Hama and the Miyako roll, to share and a bowl of their miso ramen. My favorite of the two rolls was the Negi Hama; the yuzu was the cherry on top of the fresh yellow tail! The Miyako roll was delicious too, with a great ratio of fish to rice in the roll. The ramen portion was massive, my husband and I were able to split it between ourselves and leave full and satisfied.
