He has done my color ever since. I can bring in a picture of what I want, and wow... He just makes it happen. It's like magic lol Also, I now also get blowouts done by Erica, Elena, Sierra and Rom...and my kids go to Sierra and Chris for cuts, color, brows, prom hair and makeup (Erica for brows and makeup). I had taken protective braids out like over a week ago and left my hair a hot mess in a scarf for a week (bad I know). So my hair was horribly nappy & dry. I got my deep conditioning done. I got my trim which was done tastefully and just enough. Shenika worked with me as I am tender headed & my hair was NAPPY & knotted. ‍. Came out looking like a new women. I have really long hair and wanted to get a trim since a long time but it just never happened. So while I was peeking at the shops around, I saw this salon and just went inside to check it out. I saw the rates and I found the place really reasonable (read, cheap) i.e. $22 for a trim! I have always loved the hair of Asian people and because the hair dresser was also an Asian (his name is Atin), I felt like giving it a try. I am Indian with naturally straight hair and felt comfortable with him cutting my hair because Asians understand straight hair like no one else! I must say I was pretty impressed with what he had done to my hair. It was more than just a trim, he gave me such pretty layers and he din't even wet my hair before cutting it. Sometimes when they wet your hair before cutting it, you tend to overestimate your hair length (especially when it comes to the length of your bangs!!!) but it was pretty clear to me how short he was cutting my hair. I was greeted with Two smiles, one from each stylist. The lady who did my hair, her name is Chova. I didn't have a long wait, I went to her comfy chair and we went over my options. She gave me her professional Intel on each option. She answered all my questions. From the chair to the sink, my hair wash was the best everrrr. She took her time && told me what product she was putting in my hair. After the wash, she took her time and made sure my hair was neat and done correctly. She asked for my opinion on styling. She did not do whatever she wanted to do. My opinion mattered :) All this may sound too good to be true but I guarantee I was a 1st time client who will continuously come back.
