Bionicos are a fruit salad with cream, raisins, shredded coconut, and granola. Thanks to the lady helping me, she directed me to what I really wanted. Usually I enjoy the fruit salads topped with cottage cheese, but I still really enjoyed my bionico. I opted for a medium size which i think was just the right size for walking and eating, but also to hold me over until dinner time. Where do I start? This place is super cool and tasty!! Parking - There is street parking and there is also a Public Parking lot not too far from the location. Raspado de Nuez - off the chain. I believe the nuez is blended and omg it was delicious!! The small cup was a perfect size for me. Bionico - really delicious!! I also had a small portion and I want to say I finished most of it. My friend got an esquite and I tried a bit of it and it was real good. Lastly, super friendly staff. They make you feel at home and are very welcoming. Unfortunately my friend and I showed up 10 minutes before they closed (unintentionally lol) and we weren't able to sit inside for too long since they close at 8pm. We wanted to support a non-chain small business so we came here for some drinks and açaí bowl. Things are reasonably priced. My açaí bowl is topped with fresh fruits and plenty of açaí mix. The fruit drinks that we ordered are a bit on the sweet side and I wish they were more "original" rather than added syrup or sugar. The lady who helped us was super nice. It was my first visit to this little gem in uptown Whittier today! I'm happy that they are open for takeout during the quarantine, especially now that it's heating up. I tried the pineapple agua Fresca today and it was deliciously refreshing, perfect drink to beat the heat. We also tried their escete, which was equally as delicious! Prior to the pandemic, we'd always come to this place to get our mixed fruit plates for parties. They have the freshest fruits, beautifully arranged, and very reasonably priced. This review is long overdue. Mix Fruit is my go-to juice place in Whittier. They catered the juice for my sister's wedding and rehearsal dinner last October. I'd called several places and their prices were most affordable for four 5 gallon jugs of aguas frescas. They were so accommodating. I also liked there was no delivery fee since the venue was less than five minutes away. Everyone raved about how fresh the juice was. They include bits of fruit in their aguas. They're not overly sweet and so refreshing. I had such a great experience with them that I haven't visited any other juice place in the city. They're the best. read more

I had been charged with getting fruit for a family gathering and didn't want to just go to the supermarket to get a fruit bowl because the fruit in those is too often tasteless. I was hoping to find something similar to what you can get from those little carts with the rainbow umbrellas. BINGO!! I got 2 mixed fruit bowls and they were absolutely delicious! The fruit was cut on the spot and was fresh and sweet. It consisted of mango, pineapple, oranges, watermelon and cucumber, etc. It was even arranged attractively in the container! The young lady who took my order was kind enough to come off her break a little early to help me. Great customer service! The prices were reasonable, too!
