We all ordered something different. I ordered an avocado toast and a caffè latte. The avocado toast was very flavorful from the bread as well as the avocado spread! The caffè latte was good too like most places in Italy where I have had coffee. The restaurant itself if comfortable with some cool artwork on the walls. This is a great place to try if you're in Trastevere however, there's so many good places to try here too it would be hard to choose where to go!

So we agreed to meet in Gatsby Cafè when we were done. I returned earlier and had a Caffè macchiato and a pastry while waiting. I always have food to take home afterwards. They also make tasty caffe lattes and they do have soda from America (which apparently taste different to my daughter). It's rightly popular with the international crowd working in the area, for its flavourful panini and relaxed atmosphere. There are only four benches inside (plus the bar) but in the warm weather there's also seating outside. This time, I had a pulled pork sandwich with caramelized onions and gherkins for €8. A bottle of water costs just €1. The sandwich was a real hand grenade of flavours. No craft beer for me at lunch, but I recommend returning for the evening aperitivo, when, between 5pm and 8pm Monday to Friday, beers and a daily rotation of appetisers cost €8 ( see photo for details). All in all, a top quality place which cares about the food and beer it serves. Can't ask for more!
