Cookie sundae - butter pecan w/toffee cookie, black raspberry cookie
    Leslie S.

I had an a bsolutely fantastic cookie sundae today at Mitch's. I'm ashamed to admit that I ate the whole thing. OK, not really, but it could have been considered big enough for two. There are many varieties of cookies to choose from for your base, all in baskets on the right hand side of the door as you walk in. The ice cream choices are on a board straight ahead. The cookies are big - about an inch thick and bigger than the palm of my hand. The ice cream is "homemade" Royal Scoop ice cream, which is big in the Naples area. I chose a butter pecan with toffee cookie topped with black raspberry ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream. They warmed the cookie up, and everything was just totally delicious. The cookie was soft, the ice cream smooth and creamy. My cookie sundae was served on a glass plate with a spoon, and I was offered a cup of water, which was appreciated. My friends each chose a scoop of butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone, and they had it halfway devoured before I even got my sundae. Must have been good!Their ice cream looked perfect - studded with pecan halves, which I totally prefer over tiny pieces of nuts. The place was not busy when we went at three in the afternoon, we were waited on immediately. They have a few tables outside for seating, and also a restroom, which I did not go into. You can also buy cookies to take home, and I thought they were reasonable at $2.95 for the size and interesting variety. I was just visiting Naples, but would certainly go back here if I was in town again!

This place has Depressed Santa's Workshop energy

I really enjoyed my COFFEE ICECREAM. Milkshake was a little more blended than I would like. Didn't try the cookies. Looked a bit stale (it could have been how they were displayed). The place does not stick out in a publix plaza. Our server was 10/10. DECOR: Santa's depressed workshop.I believe they're are going for a vintage theme, but the oldtimy radio is literally not working (authentic?). It looks like the decorator had a family emergency and never came back. The space and deco creates the strangest ambiences, def wouldn't go here for a first date. The room just Makes things awkward. Not exactly uncomfortable, just the exact opposite of cozy. CONCLUSION? Nothing to rave about, but it was satisfying. I'd go to Mitch's over Royal Scoop for Icecream but I'd rather go to Brooks Burgers than Mitches for a strawberry Milkshake

Mocha malt milkshake and maple bacon cookie

Stopped in during the week because we wanted iced coffee... however we all ended up getting milkshakes because they had a neat vintage mixer and all the flavors sounded delicious! We got two mocha milkshakes with malt and a creamsicle milkshake... all were delicious!! We also left with cookies- key lime stuffed, caramel stuffed, and maple-bacon! Their cookie menu is large but they don't make every cookie each week, they had about 6-8 varieties out while we were there. You can get the drinks to drink in or in a takeout cup. The woman who served us was very friendly too! Looking forward to stopping in again next time I'm in Naples!

This shop takes you back to the old days! Soda fountain feel, bar stools and counter, old time milkshake machine and feel. They serve ice cream, milkshakes and cookies! These cookies are a known staple in Naples! This business is ran by a husband and wife Team. Super clean and friendly service! I picked up two milkshakes to go for my hubby and kidddo. Also picked up two cookies, the Reese's peanut butter and chocolate chip with sea salt! Whoa! A lot of bite in one little bite! Wow! I see what all the fuss is about!

    QUALITY SNICKERDOODLES!
    Bria O.

I have lived in Naples for 5 years and I have looked EVERYWHERE for some quality cookies ( snickerdoodles to be precise) most stores don't have those and even if they do they usually taste nothing like it should but Mitch's cookies gets 5 stars from me, their snickerdoodle cookies taste EXACTLY like they should! And perfectly cooked too soft and fluffy. You can tell they put heart into each cookie. I will def come back for more !

Good place to stop after dinner. We got the malt milkshakes and they were very good. Also got a cookie that was pretty big. Prices are okay.

5+ Star Review for Mercato Italiano…read more From the moment you walk into Mercato Italiano, you know you have found something special. This is not just a café. It is an experience that brings authentic Italian flavor and warmth right into the heart of Naples. Let me start with the espresso. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the quality in every sip. It had that true Italian profile, bold but never bitter, and it set the tone for everything that followed. Now the food. I ordered a croissant sandwich, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The croissant itself was fresh out of the oven, light, flaky, and buttery in all the right ways. Inside, I had two sunny-side-up eggs cooked just right, paired with prosciutto, bacon, and ham. The combination of flavors was incredible. Every bite gave you a perfect mix of savory, rich, and slightly salty notes, all brought together by that warm, delicate croissant. What really stood out was the presentation. This was not just a sandwich thrown on a plate. It was carefully arranged on a platter, clean, inviting, and done with pride. You can tell they care about every detail. The atmosphere completes the experience. The energy inside is welcoming, relaxed, and full of character. It feels like a place where people come not just to eat, but to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment. Whether you are stopping in for a quick espresso or sitting down for a full breakfast, the environment makes you want to stay. The experience was outstanding along with the service that made you feel like Family. If you are anywhere near Naples, this is a must-visit. Mercato Italiano delivers on flavor, presentation, and experience at the highest level. This is easily a 5-plus star spot, and a place I will return to again without hesitation.

This is a great little place with a friendly, dedicated, and hard working owner. We instantly got the vibe that she puts her heart and soul into her business and everything she makes. We tried the bacon egg and cheese croissant and a blueberry scone. My wife said that the scone was among the best she's ever had, so had to grab another one to make sure! Confirmed... Best scone she's ever had! We each ordered an iced drink (iced vanilla latte and iced vanilla chai), and both were great. Also purchased one of Sandra's ginger molasses cookies and a mini key Lime pie to go. Both were off-the-charts delicious. Key Lime pie is ridiculously good, and I suspect the rest of her pies are equally delish. Sandra's is exactly the type of small biz that we love to support, and we'll certainly be back on our next visit to Naples!
