Our typical usage is "daily walkers" for the family, maybe an exercise class or two a week. None of us are runners, but my youngest rides his bike every day in all weather types on his college campus and wears these for those daily treks, even in the winter. The hours are limited, but Saturdays usually work out for us when we need a new pair of sneakers.

They usually are not lacking in any sizes and are very helpful in fitting you correctly with a good pair of sneakers. They take the time to answer all your questions. Be sure to bring in your old sneakers, so they can examine the wear. These aren't Dick's prices though so beware. Dick's doesn't give you the personal service either. When you leave you are much more knowledgable about your purchase. Will definately go again!

I can't tell you how fortunate I am to stumble upon this fantastic business! Wow! Top-notch. Special shout-out to Mark Verhay, and his apprentice Mike, who are outstanding at their trade. These guys are no-nonsense firearms experts and are not shy to give you their opinion. They are more than happy to share their vast knowledge in all things firearms in New York State. If you are in need of a firearm/firearm accessory, or in the need of how to successfully navigate the federal firearms laws in New York State, this is the business to check-out! I highly recommend Action Tactical Solutions !

I love this place! The staff was so kind, and while it was BUSY yesterday, people move in and out at a steady clip so we had no problem finding a tee to get set up on. Everything is really well maintained and there's ZERO pretentious vibes, which I really appreciated as a beginner. You don't have to wear a fancy outfit, sneakers are perfectly fine, and there's golfers of all levels and abilities. Really nice! They also offer classes, and I think we're going to take one of their group offerings over the summer. We went with a large bucket to split for $16, and got in about 40 minutes of golf fun. I think the prices are pretty reasonable and I appreciate the large parking lot. A lot of sales inside if you're looking for any kind of gear! Wearables, carts, clubs, AND they do club fittings. The shop itself is a little old school and run down, but so is golf, so it is on brand. I never thought I would find myself interested in golf (my parents are both big golfers) but I actually find myself really enjoying it. I am looking forward to continuing my golf journey and many more trips to Big Oaks in the future!

When I then told the pro shop that I would rather take a rain check for the back nine since we didn't have 6 hours to play golf I was told there was nothing they could do because it wasn't raining. That is really a poor reaction to a golf course that was overbooked on a Saturday morning with people new to the game.

I thought why not go to the only martial arts store around here and see if I can find a wing chun outfit. Very similar to the traditional CNY clothing, but without the shining material and patterns. Going into the store right away you feel at home and  see lots of tools and outfits. If you are into martial arts of any kind, this place would amaze you. The manager Alieen is amazing and helped me throughout the process of picking an outfit. She is so friendly and experienced. Just one look at me and she knew what size I'd be. She was very accurate if I may add. My Wing Chun suit fit perfectly with room to move around and stretch. Im currently 6ft4 and over 300lbs, so im glad they had so much material laying around haha. This place has a lot of history. Aileen was actually the person who helped me find my first gi (karate uniform) over 8 years ago. It was a thrilling experience now, and then. There are so many choices to choose from and if it's not available they always do their best effort to get you what you need. I will always love visiting Continental sporting goods & martial arts supplies. I recommend this place to everyone.

Prices are good too - maybe a little bit more than the internet - but you don't have to wait or pay for shipping. Well worth the trip every time I head into the ROC.
