Then the next day, they extended their suspension for about 4 more days for no apparent reason. My nephew is very upset about this and is changing schools. As well as his friends. I truly feel bad for him as he likes to do some of the activities at that school and felt good there until Mr Tucker came and ruined his fun and the school. I am deeply saddened by this because it used to be an amazing school. Not to mention my nephew barely has learned anything there. That is why i gave it a 1 out of 5. I wish 0 was an option

Kids ages 2 to 18 are allowed free access to breakfast and lunch even if they don't attend this school. I love how it's across the street from the Splash Pad area and the park so that after the kids eat, you can take them across the street and let them play. The breakfast times start at 8:00am and go until 8:45 and lunch is from 11:45-12:45 and this will be going on until July 26th. These are reasonable times. P.s.- The children do need to sir inside the cafeteria to enjoy their meals, they cannot take it to go anymore.

Maybe only until a kid gets ran over by a car will they start to do something. They need to be more consistent with the special education program in this whole district. My son…read moreis level three autism and in the five years he's been in the Folsom Cordova district. He's been shipped to three different schools and every year had a different teacher. These kids need stability and this district just doesn't see or care about that. I have experienced setback after setback with my son's progress every year. It takes him up to three months just to get acclimated. That's over a quarter of the school year before he can really start to grow and learn. My autistic child is not the only one falling behind all of the other parents are experiencing the same issues. They've made me feel as though my son is a burden and is not ever really welcome. If you can avoid the district, I would. I would like to note though that the teachers and the ladies in the office are all really amazing. My problem is with the district not the staff.

Her first week was absolutely packed with fun activities. They did tie-dye, a color run, and even took a hike to the park. She absolutely loved it, and it felt like there was always something going on. The second week was a little different. There didn't seem to be as many planned activities, and she mentioned having quite a bit more downtime. It wasn't necessarily bad, but after such a fun and activity-filled first week, I think we were both expecting a little more. The campus itself is really nice, and one thing I appreciated was that there weren't a ton of kids in her camp group. I want to say there were around eight kids, which made it feel smaller and more personal. They also had a really fun potluck, and I've heard they sometimes take bike rides to a local coffee shop, which sounds like such a fun little adventure for the kids. Overall, my daughter enjoyed her time there, especially that first week. I just wish the activities had been a little more consistent from week to week. If both weeks had been like the first one, this easily would have been a 5-star experience. Helpful tip: If you're signing your child up for multiple weeks, just know that the activities may vary quite a bit depending on the week.
