Once that happened, and with Jess's encouragement, I was able to be totally and completely honest because I knew I was working with an experienced and non-judgmental provider. I consider Jess to be more of a "teacher" as she provided me with the insights and tools I needed to change old patterns and behaviors that were holding me back from the person I wanted to be. It took work on my part, but I now feel empowered to speak up and live a life I never thought possible. I don't understand some of the negative comments that were posted about this practice. I have not had any issues with staff or payment.

Without exception, Dr. Copperman is a great doctor and his nurses and front staff are always polite…read moreand efficient. I'm really surprised at the one star reviews saying Dr. Copperman doesn't care for his patients. I have found him to be one of the most supportive and caring doctors I have ever known, and I have been around 64 years. He keeps current on your conditions, follows them like a hawk and shares information with other appropriate providers in a timely manner. Our son had an infection that I considered not to be important. He experienced pain in his side. We took him in to see Dr. Copperman. Before he came in to the examination room, Dr. Copperman's head nurse saw our son and noted the emergency nature of our son's condition. Dr. Copperman came in quickly, examined our son and told us to go to the ER as soon as possible. He asked us which ER we wanted to go to and within minutes had all of our son's medical information as well as Dr. Copperman's diagnosis at the hospital, Just 15 minutes later, we arrived at the hospital (McKenzie Willamette) and were ushered in to a room, where my son was examined quickly by a doctor. They agreed with Dr. Copperman's diagnosis. Later that day, Dr. Copperman called us to ask how our son was doing, and he kept in touch with us throughout our son's treatment, ensuring that our son was receiving the best possible care In my opinion, this is the best kind of coordinated care and is something Dr. Copperman excels at. As another example, I get my medications through the VA. The medications are prescribed by Dr. Copperman. Because of him and his office staff and Dr. Stubbs at the VA clinic here in town, we have never had a glitch with the VA providing the medications we need in a timely manner. Our family has been seeing Dr. Copperman for nearly 30 years (we first went at the recommendation of one of his patients). Not only is he a caring doctor, he communicates well with us about what we need to do to improve a condition and what his treatments mean. He also answers any questions patiently, including some extensive questions at times that my wonderful wife asks. We have NEVER felt rushed in his or his nurses' care. Of course Dr. Copperman is a busy man as are his nurses, but in the daily scheme of things, he has never let us down. His other patients with whom I have spoken have unreservedly endorsed him and his staff. To a person, they have felt he provides the best care for them. This simply flies in the face of some of the other reviews on this site, which I simply do not understand. If his care were otherwise, you can bet I would provide a different review, but it's simply not the case. Again, I'm not sure of the basis of some of these reviews, but they fly in the face of my and my family's experience with Dr. Copperman's care and that of his staff. In good conscience, I couldn't let some of these reviews stand without providing our experience with Dr. Copperman, his nurses and his office staff. You won't be disappointed with his care.

Wonderful. I've been going to this clinic for over 20 years. I feel valued. The staff are caring, competent, and provide strength-oriented patient empowerment. They have helped me through good times and challenging times and put up with me when I was not at my best. I have to say that Dr. Ames is the most caring and thorough doctor I've ever had. I have severe depression and anxiety. I've also had a bought with skin cancer and some other minor infections that I needed to be treated for. I can not take anti depressants, because I'm far too sensitive to them. If I did not have this man in my life, I may not be here today. Dr. Kaplan is a straight shooter! I adore her and is the perfect doctor for my husband. Some people need to hear the truth about their unhealthy life style and help to go about changing it. She will not hesitate to tell you, but she also offers help and solutions. She is not quick to give antibiotics and I think that's very important, so if your looking for a doctor who is going to give you whatever you think you need, then don't go see her, because she won't fall for that self treatment crap. This woman is an excellent doctor and if you decide to see her, do what she tells you!!! All of you who are writing bad review about this clinic are mistaken. Yes I do have good insurance, but these people are absolutely the best at what they do and sincerely care about the people they treat.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Kim Foster helped to give me my life - AND my body -…read moreback. For years I had been struggling with severe stomach bloating and weight gain despite eating moderately and overall eating a very healthy, organic, gluten-free, Paleo-based diet. Every doctor I saw completely dismissed my symptoms - and my deep concern regarding the fact that I could hardly recognize myself anymore (I had gained a great deal of weight in the space of a few years, and my knees were so strained I could no longer participate in adult ballet classes anymore). One provider casually told me to "Take Tums" after I carefully explained some odd digestive distress I was experiencing - NOT helpful, to say the least. I knew at this point that mainstream medicine would be of no use to me at all when it came to this severe bloating I was experiencing. I found Dr. Foster via a google search. After visiting her in person and her running some comprehensive, cutting-edge tests, she confirmed what I had suspected: I was suffering from a severe case of stomach inflammation and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), among other things. This, I realize now, was likely a result of a dying gallbladder that was interfering with my digestive processes, which I have since had taken out. After prescribing a thoughtful blend of herbal and pharmaceutical treatments, the bloating slowly began to recede over a period of two months and the weight began to come off. 6 months after seeing Dr. Foster for the first time, I am 34 pounds lighter and my stomach is flat for the first time in 10 years. I was able to resume my ballet classes and in many ways, at the post-menopausal age of 61, I truly do feel re-born. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Foster and her team, and cannot thank them enough for providing an alternative pathway to healing.
