DSW does have a variety of selections for Men's, Women's & Children. The Clearance Area has even more added savings to extend your purchasing dollar.

I had the worst experience at this DSW. After having to return a pair of shoes I ordered for my…read morewedding because they came to me in a box that had no lid and were visibly worn I was also picking up an online order I had placed which consisted of three pairs of shoes for my kids. There were a handful of hiccups through the return process but the young lady who was helping me did everything she could to make it go smoothly as possible. The real issue comes when I was handed my in-store pick up and it only contained two of the three shoes I paid for...insert Jillian... The little manager from Hell. She had come back-and-forth about the return but wasn't memorable until it came time to locate my missing shoe. I asked them if they had the shoe in store because they were unable to locate it amongst the online pick ups, she told me no and that the shoes were in Lancaster after some confusion and back-and-forth I said give me a minute. I walked away and immediately walked to the shoes, picked them up, brought them to the register and said "you lied! Not only do you have the shoes but you have a good number of them!" Jillian replied " congratulations now you can pay for them" (they were already paid for!). She was more content with allowing me to drive all the way to Lancaster to pick up the shoes rather than do her job and walk over to the children's section in her store and correct the issue. She was incredibly snarky, condescending, incredibly rude and was absolutely no help at all. The young lady at the register was visibly uncomfortable by her snarkiness and rudeness toward me. When I called her out on it she simply replied "it's my job", to which I informed her that her job is to be of assistance, none of which she has been and that I did her job for her by locating the missing shoes she then proceeded to tell me "good job want a raise?" She then told me that I could purchase the shoes I found in store because the ones I paid for were in Lancaster (although my pick up information said Camp Hill). If it weren't for the cashier who got on the phone with Lancaster and took care of the miscommunication, I would have either left with two shoes although paying for three or would have had to pay for a fourth pair of shoes while still not having the "missing shoe" Jillian alone is reason enough that I will no longer purchase from DSW

Plum Bottom used to be my favorite place to shop when visiting my daughter in Harrisburg…read more Unfortunately, Lesla ruined this. We stopped in 9/14/24 in the Camp Hill location. I actually thought they were closed from the death stares. Not only did Lesla offer no help, she was downright nasty when asked a question. I have never experienced this level of poor customer service in a five & dime store, let alone a higher end shoe store. Love the shoes, but I refuse to patronize a company that employees such hatred, and allows it to continue.

Staff proceeded to refer to us as 'girls' or 'honey' the whole time we browsed. One colleague seemed quite proud that they were a 'shoe store' implying expertise and great service yet when my sister explained she needed a specific narrow width in shoes the associate continued to show her shoes that 'run narrow' rather than really addressing her needs. They do have some nice brands and styles - their sale room has some great finds. It's a shame they are rude and willing to say anything to make a sale. Found a great pair of sandals and when they brought the mate it out it has obviously been worn and returned to the store - when I pointed it out the associate argued with me insisting they would never do such a thing despite the dirty soles and obvious signs of wear. My sister and I had been in a few times before without making a purchase - this was rudely referred to during our visit. We were told something about finally deciding to commit........really? If this is the best Central PA has to offer I terms of higher end shopping and service I'll pass. This happened at Susquehanna Shoppes location - it reminded me why I stopped shopping at their other location years ago.

The situation here is essentially over and it's just a matter of what the next steps are…read more Susquehanna Valley Mall has lost too many stores to recover, including anchor store Bon-Ton, Books-A-Million, and Victoria's Secret among many others. The mall remains in relatively good condition, despite the lack of stores. We found out why no major changes have occurred; the previous owners were deep in debt. The mall went for sheriff's sale in August 2019 and is now owned by the bank. The only major developments that have occurred is the sale of the former Sears to Family Practice Center, who have been renovating it into a clinic. The future of the Susquehanna Valley Mall is a mystery. Until it's sold to a new owner, the mall continues to lose stores in "status quo" mode. I'd like to see the former Weis sold to Ollie's Bargain Outlet, who needs a MUCH better space. I suspect the mall will have to be redeveloped by new owners and it's a real question how much will remain a traditional mall. Finally, how will the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation Project bypass affect the shopping strip when completed? There will probably be no happy ending at the Susquehanna Valley Mall.

Wouldn't a high- end store like Nordstroms or Bloomingdale's be good? Even a Nordstrom's Rack would be nice. Also, I don't think any of these would affect Boscov's, which is still essential.
