I recommend getting the Chelo beef kebab kobideh, for P275 (add P30 for basmati rice!) -- definitely a must-try- or the Mahksos. Most of their dishes served with rice is good for sharing, however, when really hungry, it could be just for one. Pair it with Dogh (yogurt shake), and you're good to go! Nevertheless, lunchtime (especially on a Friday) often sees the place packed, especially when school is in (Mr. Kabab is opposite the University of Asia and the Pacific and in close proximity to Tektite Towers , which houses many offices). Dinner doesn't usually provide any problem. The establishment is fully air-conditioned, so you might end up smelling like food if the place is full. Smoking is not allowed; you'll have to head downstairs and find the large green ashtray for that. Just last Friday, my boss and I checked out Persiana along Pioneer Street for lunch. She was game for some Kebab and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to test this place out. We got there at around 11:30am and the place had more people than I was expecting. I guess they fill up pretty fast during lunch. There wasn't anything spectacular or notable about the interiors of the place. It didn't look like just another fast food chain but it wasn't high-end either. It was simple and reminiscent of Middle Eastern food spots, I think. My boss ordered their kebab with rice and I opted to go for one of their combo meals - keema and kebab with rice. Let me go straight to it - the food was great! Although they had a different take on the kebab and (my new favorite) keema, they were still very enjoyable. The meat on the kebab was cooked well - it wasn't dry and it was seasoned quite well. Their keema was also a winner for me. I still like Mr. Kabab's keema better but this is a close second. When you order their kebab, they give you three roasted tomatoes. I LOVE ROASTED TOMATOES so I wasn't complaining when my boss gave two of his to me. We also got to try their Baklava ala mode. It had almonds and white chocolate inside. A little too sweet for my liking, to be quite honest, but everything else I truly enjoyed.

They've provided seats and tables just outside the walkway where the stall is located but most of the time, the area is uncomfortably hot because its located below the vents from the parking and the buildings around it. I only recommend staying for a meal if you really can't bring your food elsewhere! they only have about 8-10 seats and 4 tables. (that's not a lot) They have really good "houseblend" iced sweet tea to combo with their food! I give it a solid 4 mostly for the food itself! maybe 3.5 because of the location.
