This past week our central air system stopped cooling our house. Temperatures were rising the more the AC unit worked. Called Mr. B's to see if they could have our system looked at, since we had the maintenance plan through them. They quickly responded first thing the following morning. They assessed the problem as a leak in the coil on the outside condenser unit. With some further research they found out this part was currently unavailable and with no expected production date. This was a HEIL system that was originally installed in home in 2016 surprise HEIL is no longer producing parts. DJ came out and provided us some options to fix this issue. Previous problems with our furnace back in 2020 and the difficulty getting parts for that unit left us questioning, if we shouldn't just have the entire HVAC system upgraded giving us a much better warranty since the original had already expired. The following weekend Mr. B's sent a team out and completely replaced the entire system within 6 hrs! Highly impressed with their customer service, their install team was efficient, courteous and extremely respectful! Upon completion they explained everything that was done and patiently showed us how to operate the entire system. Most importantly during these times pricing was unmatched. DJ runs one top notch business and his people are highly professional. I would never do business with any other HVAC company in Cheyenne!! Quality is Job 1 with this company!! read more

Had an appointment with them next week due to the high volume of calls for AC. They put me on a cancelation list and a technician was able to come out today. Well, this is not your typical review! I live in Hawaii and it is unlikely that I will ever require HVAC assistance from Mister B's here, but if I do relocate to Cheyenne, I absolutely will call on Mr. B for my HVAC needs. Here is my story: I was considering the purchase of WIFI controllers from a supplier in Sheridan and called Mister B's for a referral on the company. (I did not realize that Sheridan was 400 miles away from Cheyenne) I was assisted by Mr B. himself as he got involved with tracking down information on the company. He contacted one of his HVAC associates in Sheridan who physically drove to the property address to confirm that the legitimacy of the business. Long story short.....Mr B. saved me from a major headache and potentially fraudulent transaction. Our landlord called Mister B's to come out and check our 1940's thermostat. It matched our Luxaire furnace with the serial number of 4! They promised to be here between 4 and 6PM, and he arrived at 4:15. He was here maybe 15 minutes just to put in a new thermostat. Very friendly and efficient. Our house is no longer going from 65 degrees to 82 degrees before shutting off. Job well done! read more

Our furnace ran most of the night while the house got colder, at 8 am I called Mr B's and made an appointment. The gal told me that they were booked for the day and I would have to pay for an overtime call. I told her that was ok. To make a long story short, the (very courteous) technician called at around 1:40, showed up at 2, worked just over an hour and fixed our furnace. He explained to me why it failed and I was really happy with both his work and his knowledge. Even happier when the bill came to only $66.60. I didn't have to pay the overtime charge and on top of that he gave me a senior discount. Contrast that service call with the same problem one month earlier. I won't mention the name of the company but was told by their phone lady that I would have to pay for an overtime call, which I agreed to. The tech. arrived at 4pm and drove away at 4:35. He drilled a hole in the furnace exhaust pipe, put in a new filter and declared it fixed. It did run for a month so technically it was fixed, just not for long. For that he charged me $170. I didn't complain because I agreed to it, I just didn't know that overtime started at 4 pm. Needless to say, I have found a new home for my HVAC calls and I am well pleased. read more

RUN AWAY!!! I would give lower rating but can't. We had Mr. B's install new AC unit July 27, 2016. June 2018 called him back because unit was freezing up. He came back 3 times, wanted to warranty parts on air handler. Finally on 3rd trip back, after NOT fixing the problem. He says must be a leak in the line. We'll just fill it with freon and see how long it lasts, then then check the lines. Well, here were are in August, 30 days later, freezing up again. He REFUSES to come back. New hvac guy has to re-solder the bad weld job MR. B did to the tune of $800.00. DO NOT USE this guy. We tried to give him every opportunity to fix HIS error. read more

Between Christmas and New Year's my 15 year old furnace totally shut down. Jade with Mister B's came and identified the part that needed replaced. He was able to coax the old part to work for another day and in the meantime ordered the new part from Denver. Due to weather and delivery issues it did take time for the part to arrive. But he called and gave me updates on the delivery time and when the work would be completed. He arrived within the designated timeframe and had the furnace up and going very quickly. As it had been close to zero degrees outside it was much appreciated. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The service fees were fair and well within my expectations. I called Mr. B's to light a pilot light I was having difficulty with. They arrived within a half hour and quickly got it taken care of. They even waived the customary service fee, saying it seemed wrong to charge for just lighting a pilot. I would recommend them even if they had charged their reasonable service fee. read more

Hi to all who are thinking about hiring Mister B's Heating and Cooling: We had our Sensor go off in the middle of the night and found our house full of lethal gas. After being out of our house for most of the night, a nice gentleman from Mr. B's came to our house the very first thing the next day because the fire department and electric company red-tagged our furnace. As expected, we were totally exhausted and stressed out. But Mr. B's Sales Manager helped us decide what furnace would be just right for us, and we also decided to add air conditioning because of the weather changes. The company started the job quickly. What really made us want to write this review were the people of the company. The three nice gentlemen that worked at our house for two full days were so polite, friendly, and always had a quick smile, even when we were asking them a million questions (ha-ha.) I don't think I ever saw any of them without a smile on their face. You could tell that they took their job very seriously, but also had time for us when we thought one of our cats had gotten out of the house. These are the type of people that definitely make a great name for this business. We cannot say enough good things about them. Our house is an older house and we have had many workers come in. But these three gentlemen were just that - gentlemen (polite, kind, friendly, and they welcomed our questions. We also had no problem trusting these guys. It was amazing - the amount of work they got done in two days. We would recommend them to anyone without reservation. Plus, the owners of the company were very reassuring when we met with them and you could tell that their work ethics had traveled down to their workers. read more
