What a joke. We finally contacted Milgard directly to correct a slider that had a 3/8" gap due to wrong window size that allowed winter air to blow directly into our living room, and were told by the Milgard reps that the installers for Utah Window Experts had also not leveled or shimmed the sliders correctly, accounting for some of the issues we were seeing. This was not a small job, it was nearly a $60K order for a new custom build, and Utah Window Experts even acknowledged most of the screw-ups they caused, including delaying our construction completion by months by failing to order all the windows specified to complete the job. Despite this, they never took any ownership of fixing the issues or damages caused by one of the three crews sent to install the windows. I previously gave them 2 stars based on the last crew sent out to complete the installation doing decent work, but now am dropping to a single star based on their extremely poor customer service and lack of follow through. Have had mostly good experiences with the subs for this project, however Utah Window Experts was not one of them. No one has perfect reviews, but would recommend using almost anyone else for a window installation. Milgard does make a good product, and our experience with the producthas generally been great, however could never recommend this distributor/installer. If you want Milgard, find someone else to install.

Just a vague invoice and a threat to increase the amount if we didn't pay immediately. We hired them expecting restoration -- their website says they handle both mitigation and reconstruction. After demolition, they suddenly claimed they don't do reconstruction at all. When we questioned the charges and asked for moisture logs or any kind of justification, they refused and raised the bill. We took them to small claims court. We lost. But that doesn't make what they did right. We ended up paying nearly $2,000 for a torn-up bathroom and had to hire someone else to fix it. Learn from our mistake and hire literally anyone else. Everything in this review reflects our honest opinion and direct experience.

When he came by to fix the screens, he mentioned he was very familiar with my area and cleaned several of my neighbors' windows regularly. I decided to sign up for a monthly program with the owner. At first he was reliable and thorough--cleaning both inside and outside of all our windows (including very high 3rd floor windows as well as basement windows) at a very affordable price--40 windows for $80. They even clean during the winter months (except for the outside of the 3rd floor windows--way too dangerous to get up on snow-covered roof). On occasion, they would bend or break a window screen, but they would quickly repair it when brought to their attention. They cleaned our windows monthly for about 6 months and did a great job. Suddenly, and without any warning, in March of this year, they just stopped showing up. No calls, no contact, nothing. I reached out to the owner for several months thereafter and received no response--no call-backs, no return emails, no return texts. I was pretty persistent--trying to connect with him about every two weeks. I finally got through to him via text several months later and he simply said that he had cut back his practice and would no longer be servicing our home. No apology; no further explanation. I offered to increase the price because I thought he did a good job and I could trust him in my home. No response. In this trade, quality, dependability and professionalism are especially important to me. He scored high on quality, but failed miserably on dependability and professionalism. Consequently, I could never recommend this company. The full name of the company is Snows Gone Window Cleaning, but it also goes by the name of SG Window Cleaning. To be honest, I was torn between 1 star and 2 stars, but chose to give him the higher rating because when he was working for us, he did a good job.

Our story: we had a puddle of water in our basement after a recent thunderstorm. Glenn and Ryan showed up within an hour, calmed our nerves, helped us inspect our home, cleaned up the mess, and left us with some fans to dry out the room. They were able to provide a free estimate. They were offered to come within an hour or 2 from the call (which means, if they can come soon, they will not let you wait for a long time for for nothing) I did not need further services in my place, and he was honest about it (he could have tried to push services, because the water machine identified humidity). He provided us with his professional opinion and backed up his advice with solid and easy to understand arguments. I had further questions about technical aspects of mold/water damage and he patiently answered them with same eloquence as paragraph above. I found his visit very objective, not waisting our time. He was also polite and considerate at all times (important right now due to coronavirus circumstances). Their service was so satisfying that I felt that I own them a review.
