Haircut for $10 ?!? Really? There's got to be a catch or something. It's probably not good idea…read moreto trust a $10 haircut, but look...the place feels... legit. Hmm, maybe I'll give it a try. If something goes wrong, I can just cut it shorter and my hair will always grow back, right? I walked by the salon in Chatswood contemplating if it was really worth it or just to wait and drive to my usual barber. It was just $10 and I'm walking right past it. I only needed a trim and I only had about a half hour till I needed to pick up my partner. I don't want to wait and I don't think I'll make it if I drive to my other barber. Ok, let's give it a try. I walked into the salon, immediately was able to sit down in a chair and the lady asks me how I want it cut. I tell her I just needed a trim and she proceeded to cut my hair with ease and style. I was impressed. Since I was only spending $10 on the haircut I opted to have my hair washed and styled (only another $7). It was a good decision. I walked out feeling so fresh and so clean and was on time to pick up my beautiful partner.

Came up with Harry Hair Salon for mens hair cuts for only $10. Could this be right? We walked over to the shop and yep, there was a catch... it's now a WHOLE $12.00, still the cheapest hair cut my husband would ever have. We walked in and was greeted with about 4 salon workers, not really sure who worked there and who didn't as he was told to sit in 3 differant chairs. A young man asked him what he wanted done and about 10mins later he was done. Best hair cut my husband has ever had! We normally pay $40 every six weeks so this was GREAT find.

These guys are a bit different than usual salons but amazing value!…read more You dont do the usual appointment thing and they may run late, but they are good, cheap, great results, I have been going to them for years and lots of my friends have been there too. Can't complain with a $25 cut and blowdry which is as good as any of the other rip off hair salons who charge $80+++!

Average inexpensive cut - if I come back I will try another stylist!…read more Walked in today with no booking and got served straight away - I wanted to trim my long hair to shoulder length. My stylist didn't speak much English and I don't speak Korean, whether that was responsible for the lack of customer service (most likely) I'm not sure. A cut comes with shampoo and blow dry. Shampoo was rough - a bad first impression as my stylist brutally went about washing my hair, thank god it was over in 10 seconds. The cut wasn't as bad. Definitely not a 5-star experience but the result was alright for the price. There was a slight communication barrier and the only things the stylist 'consulted' with me were 'how short?' and 'fringe?'. Even then, it was difficult to communicate - so most of it was done with hands and gestures. I got a bit scared at one point because I thought she was starting to cut a fringe when I hadn't asked for one - but all was good in the end. Would've been nice if they let you pick a style out of a magazine, like many other salons do. Stylist didn't smile much and often seemed distracted by other things, only in the end when we paid did she flash a smile as we thanked her. Ended up paying $33 for the shampoo, cut and blow dry (long hair). My mum who was waiting noticed the stylist next to mine finishing off a very nice bob cut, and later a nice smooth cut on a young girl. She managed to grab her card and turns out she's the manager so next time we'll make a booking with her instead.

The welcome at the salon is always friendly and professional. You're given a refreshing and relaxing Aveda herbal tea while you wait for your hairdresser. You will always been consulted by your hairdresser before they begin and these guys really take the time to listen but also have a point of view (I always like a professional opinion). Before your hair is washed a 'ritual' is performed where you get a scalp and neck massage with a beautiful oil. The only thing you should be warned about is that Luc Espace is a training salon which means that while your hairdresser will always do the cut, you will have somebody different wash your hair, or dry it. Mostly I have had good experiences but it can be frustrating at times. That said, I respect that they foster young talent so I keep going back. I recommend seeing Jordana for cut and Julia for colour.

The stylists there always consult with you to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want, my hair always looks stylish whilst still suiting me. A cut and style - for me, usually blow dry and straighten - takes around an hour with long hair. Basically, the only place on this earth that I would allow to put something sharp near my hair. Be aware that they do take appointments for children, but only after school and not on the weekends. But the staff are great with the children that come through :)

Found the Tony&Guy just across Chatswood Chase Mall. I have no appointment and not busy. I asked the price and yes, it's very expensive. $120 for creative stylist. I asked for someone less like a level one stylist for $80 but nobody there. Well, I needed a haircut so I went for the top stylist. Albert sat down with me and told him exactly what I want. Had my hair shampooed then a good massage. Albert has done a good job! Quite happy and highly recommended.

Made a long drive to get to Chatswood and parking is horrible at Chatswood Chase and in the end I just said 'stuff it' and valet parked my clunker Mazda next to Porche, BMWs of the North Shore. Walking into the place the woman with the tattooed arms warmly greeted me with a smashing smile as well and arranged seating. From then it was wash, dry, tidy etc and I asked for a senior stylist i.e. Someone who knew what they were doing. She started to go to work and I was pleased with the result. It's expensive and - in fact - took my breath away with the price. Excluding the mandatory add on sales pitch priced in for cut, Colour, style and a can of spray A$240 - probably the most expensive hair style I've had but, given, I'm pleased the greenies were worth it
