Recently, I was in the market for an oval (elongated) toilet seat, and the staff were careful to ensure that I didn't actually need a round seat, which is more common. And, last week I was looking for a bolt that was missing from a wheelchair. The "bolt" expert took significant effort to find a bolt that matched in length, width and threading. He also recommended some Lock-Tight to make sure the bolt doesn't come off again -- but not full-strength formulation, but one that has some "give" that will allow me to change the bolt if needed.all for a $12 sale. I was a satisfied customer -- I had what I needed, and the confidence that I had a solution that would work. And it did. This store combines good dedication to inventory, but also to a level of skill and caring that are rare today.

The staff wete friendly and patient, who helped me select a great pair of new skates. All questions I asked he was able to answer. Also, the Pro Shop also sized and cut some of my own sticks down to the proper size. The one issue I had was the waiting time. As I said I had to wait for help and the skate sharpening which comes with the new skates took over 30 minutes. Overall a better choice than Natjonal Sports but does not come close to the care a small and local independent store may give you.
