Then had Scott from United Water Restoration Group come out and show us that we had absolutely NO high moisture readings in our walls or master bed. Only a small bit of moisture in the baseboard that we suspected. So glad we got a second opinion from these guys and that they were honest and so helpful, saved us thousands! They are still working in my home it has been over a month, the painting was un professional, the ceiling is still damage in which that was the main area that needed restored, they have tried to fix it 5 times and failed each time , We were told to sign over our insurance checks up front before they started the project, I really thought that was the correct way , so we were taken advantage of from the very beginning. We are senior citizens, and I believe that has a role in them taking advantage of us too. They are telling us now after they have requested additional money from my insurance company several times, they can't come back and finish the job until May 12, 2025. It is very limited what we can do in our home at this time, due to their unprofessionalism and not completing the work professionally and in a timely manner. We have been extremely patient and courteous to this company , but now we are not receiving the same treatment, mind you they have already been paid for work that they have not completed. Jake was at my house within 30 minutes of my first call. I had a leak in our 2nd floor laundry room that soaked through the ceiling, walls, and flooring on the 1st floor. Jake was quick to assess all of the damage and provided extensive photos/documentation for insurance. He even worked directly with the insurance company to make sure all the necessary repairs were covered. For the cleanup and restoration work, Jake was careful to protect all my belongings and he made sure I could live and work from home with as little interruption as possible.
