The quality of food and speed in the service while still getting a smile at the cashier lane is appreciated . This can teeter on a 4/5 scale, but it's just a solid bbq choice. I rarely crace a burger, but when I do this is my go to choice. The sides are good as well, can't say I think the value always matches the size, but it's close enough. Sorry no pics this round, but it's mostly a grab and go experience for me. Bonus points for being able to buy a regular ish size bbq sauce to go, once you've tried and tested the variety and fou d one you like that much. I live for BBQs and I have to say, I save places like Mission for when my greatest crave for such hit a premium high... I am so glad I finally tried them and thankfully this location worked best to meet with locals in the area. I wanted ribs. Fall off the bone, meaty, and saucy ones. For sides, we shared cheesy potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, and mac n' cheese. I think for a good 5 minutes I couldn't speak ha lol. Let's just say 5 bones was perfect plenty because oh my goodness... the cheesy potatoes were hot and oozing with cheese, baked beans had that tang and perfect texture, and the coleslaw was a nice balance of crisp and cool. Kaylee and Peyton were wonderful in their service during our visit! Upon our departure, a gentleman whose name I did not get, took our trays for us. Every single interaction of the team here, the hospitality, made our visit even more memorable. I especially love the story of Mission BBQ and their mission statement. Plenty of space with big booths and tables but I can imagine the place to get busy during peak times. Parking is ample and space is ADA accesible. One of my favorite places to go for lunch, I'm there at least once a week. lol. I like everything there: the moist brisket, ribs, half chicken, pulled pork, sausage are all delicious! They have great side dishes too: Mac and cheese, fresh fries, green beans, collard greens, and seasonal desserts like strawberries short cake, carrot cake are also great! I always get their ice tea with my meal. The service is above and beyond top notch! The food is great and comes out fast. I always feel welcome there with their amazing staff, a shout out to Thomas and Coleman, who always greet me by name. We used this Mission BBQ to cater a big event we had (120 people). They were really great to work with on the phone ordering the food. The lady who delivered it was also great as well. She called ahead of time. Then she told me she would come early because she knew how long it would take her to set up that much food and she wanted to have everything set up on time. Is Mission better than brisket in Texas? Or vinegar bbq that you'd get in Carolina? Maybe not, but I am impressed with the quality of the bbq in a chain restaurant this large. This location is no exception and you can tell because it's packed every time I decide to dine here. Since Mission is a chain, I've already written a review about the pricing, quality of food, and experience at the Columbia, MD location, and overall, I think Mission is great. This time however, I visited the Glen Burnie location and was quite pleased with my treatment. I was cashing in on a birthday sandwich (another thing I love about Mission - they gift me with food and treats several times a year), and I order the moist brisket sandwich, no bread (WHO EATS BRISKET ON BREAD???). I got my drink, then my order was up, and I carried my tray to a table. As I settled in to eat, I noticed the brisket looked really dry, not moist at all. I debated if I should just eat it or not, decided NOT, and went back to the counter with my tray of not moist brisket. I explained my issue to the young man there, who whisked the tray away and had the food prep staff cut new slices of brisket for me. It was perfect! Then he gave me the not moist brisket in a to-go container since it would have just gone to waste. I was very pleased with the care and customer service I received and the new slices of brisket were delicious and as fatty as I could want them. I find it irritating I have to plan my trips to Mission around NOT having to stand up during a meal when an anthem comes on, but otherwise, this place is great. read more

Great service and excellent food! The staff were able to help me pick out what I wanted. Another staff walked around the dining area and was checking on guests, how their service and food, and if they needed a refill on their drink or drink f they wanted anything else. I ordered the brisket as moist instead of lean. It was incredible! Very flavorful and juicy! I also ordered the mac and cheese. So good! Unfortunately very first bad experience. It was a surprised to see the inside, it's a very well designed and decorated place. My rating goes for the lady at the register, while placing the order it was a little mistake on her part, I explain the ribs needed to be in a different plate and instead of pulled pork (what she put in the order), it had to be pulled chicken since my bf is allergic to pork and did have no need to rush to the hospital due food allergies. Boy oh boy, I've never had such a bad reaction from a cashier/waitress/server. Rolling eyes and uncomfortable as she could be, gave me the cup for the order and said I was done. I wanted her to confirm if it will be okay and she just waved her hand in order to lead me to move out of the counter. Once we got the food I must say I enjoyed the plate (meat sampler with pulled chicken, brisket and ribs) we ordered the XXL combo that comes with 2 sides and a drink, really delicious mac and cheese and corn casserole. Service is always nice and I've never had a problem with an order. Make sure if you order a sandwich to get it wet or it will be dry. Wet means you get a piece that has a good marbling of fat. They have a lot of different sauces to choose from and I typically stick to a sweet spicy or going to write sauce. I've had some misses and some hits from the ribs, to the beans, turkey, pulled pork - been through their menu a couple times now as it's an easy spot. Whether it's a sandwich, a rice bowl, BBQ - w/e sauce is delicious. Somehow the vast array of sauce Mission BBQ slings... I just don't like. There are a couple standouts that I enjoy, but if they have 10 sauces I dislike 8 of them. And that's weird, BBQ sauce is delicious I love all the regions - yet somehow their sauces just don't taste right. Customer service is top notch, these folks are trained to care, and they all want to make sure you are a happy camper. Always respect and enjoy a place that employs customer satisfaction as a primary focus. The meats have been hit or miss. Sometimes dry, sometimes perfection. Same kind of deal goes for all of the sides I've tried to. Don't get me wrong, Mission isn't bad - if it was bad I'd not give it 3 stars, 3 is A-OK. Is it worth going out of your way? As a Texan, visiting Baltimore for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to find a BBQ joint serving "Texas-style" smoked meats. I had three-meat sampler with some baked beans and I was not disappointed. The three meats I chose were the moist brisket, smoked turkey, and classic sausage. The sausage was great! A cut above what I find in most Texas places. The turkey was on par with the best I've had anywhere and, the brisket was good - just seasoned differently than I'm used to. However, I definitely have it again. Throw in the history of Mission BBQ, honoring American heroes and this great country and, considering everyone on the staff seems proud to work there and have such great attitudes, and I'll be back.
