We frantically called around on a Saturday late afternoon of the long weekend and Gerry's Automotive was the ONLY place that would check the diagnostic. Turns out we needed an alternator and it was 3:30pm when we arrived (they close at 5pm) We were extremely grateful they drove to parts store to pick up new alternator and installed it, we were gone by 5pm. If they wouldn't have gone out of their way for us, we would have have to stay in a hotel for another 2 nights, miss work and and school Monday to get our truck looked. I bring my vehicles to Manni, (sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly Manni). I have given many other shops a chance to work on my auto's, and have never gone back. I'm sure there are a bunch I haven't been to that are top notch, but Mission Automotive is a shop I have come back to time after time. I see people talking about price, if you had any idea of the markup restaurants put on the food they serve, the taxes on the price of gasoline.... every business is in business to make money, period. The difference is the quality of the work performed, the standards of practice adhered to and the confidence built with the customer. Manni runs a tight ship. His team's work is first rate, he stands behind everything he does, he will go out of his way to get your vehicle fixed, safely, ethically and in a timely manner. There have been occasions I have walked in with a 4 hour job and because I really really needed my vehicle running..... Manni got 'er Done! You can count on getting a job done right. He is always upfront and honest, it truly is amazing to experience this high level of decency in this business. We have 2 Dodges, a Hemi Charger Daytona R/T, and Durango R/T, and both have been in his shop on a number of occasions. Not only has his work been top notch, but he has been able to swiftly trouble shoot problems and correct them all within his estimated quotes or better. Any suggestions he makes beyond the job at hand have been truly for my best interest, and not a cheap up-selling tactic. His office is retro styled with a jukebox and 50's diner flair, and the wall shows his incredible past as a Trophy winning circuit racer and lots of history at the old Langley Speedway - Ron knows cars! He has always finished a job by thanking me for bringing him business. Total class. I brought my vehicle to Tires Plus for a basic seasonal tire swap. What I got in return was a…read morenightmare of vehicle damage, poor treatment, and zero accountability. Immediately after the service, I noticed steering issues, loud squealing, and my vehicle pulling to the left -- none of which were present beforehand. I returned for a pre-booked oil change the following week and expressed my concerns; they then had their mechanic test drive and inspect my vehicle. At no point did they acknowledge any major issues or mention anything unsafe. The Service Advisor came out and asked if I'd hit anything hard. I said no. He said, "Your steering wheel is way off." During that visit, they also told me my car needed rear brakes, possibly a seized caliper, and quoted me over $1,700 in repairs -- which I later confirmed were not needed at all. I had also just had my rear brakes done not even 2 years prior. They also recommended an alignment -- but when I asked to book it, they told me to wait until I "did my brakes." I was not informed that my vehicle was unsafe to drive or that the alignment needed to be done immediately. Not long after, while driving to Abbotsford with my sister and toddler, I nearly lost control of my vehicle on the highway. I was so scared I couldn't drive it home. I inched it to another shop, where I learned that my car was unsafe to drive due to: * Both control arms were damaged and needed replacement. * My tires were worn to the cords on the inside edges * The alignment was severely off on all 4 corners * My winter rims were severely dented and caved in and no longer usable. Even more disturbing: When Tires Plus hammered my winter rims excessively with a sledgehammer during removal, there was no attempt to notify me, no attempt to warn me of any damages that might occur, and the damaged rims were handed back in plastic bags without any notice or explanation. I was sent on my way with a severely compromised vehicle. Not once. But TWICE. When I raised these concerns, the shop owner laughed at me and dismissed my experience entirely. That lack of professionalism was as shocking as the damage itself. To be clear, this isn't about trying to get free service -- it's about safety, transparency, and respect. Prior to this visit, my vehicle had passed a full inspection elsewhere: tires, alignment, steering, and suspension were all in good condition. The problems began immediately after this shop's service. I've since documented everything -- with photos, written reports, and damaged parts. I trusted this shop to do a routine job, and they returned my vehicle in far worse shape. I absolutely cannot recommend Tires Plus.

They took it in right away, replaced rotors, calipers, brake pads and even threw in a few extras like emergency brake adjustment, tire rotation, and with parts and labour came in at less that half of the quote I got from the Honda dealer! These guys have always treated me like a V.I.P. I love Tires Plus!
