Unfortunately, the most important part of the visit, my 1:1 time with the doctor, was lacking. That is the driving factor that will bring me back to any business. This was my first time meeting Dr. Sheth. She was nice but didn't provide me with much clarity about ways to improve my skin other than purchasing their offered skin care products. After leaving my room, I remembered a question about my skin that I quickly wanted to ask her so I had asked her PA if she can ask her to come back for a quick moment. I heard her asking the doctor and she refused to come back in my room. She told her PA she'd answer it at my next visit. Well, my question would have taken less than a minute to answer. It's the little things that bring patients back and unfortunately I will not be back as a patient. I visit the dermatologist about once a year for an overall skin check up. Last year, when I visited this place I saw their nurse practitioner (who no longer works there). She was wonderful. I had hoped to go back and see her but she is gone. Front office staff does have an attitude but that doesn't matter to me as long as my experience with the doctor is a positive one. Do your homework.

I felt relaxed and at ease after she explained the whole process to me and what it would feel like. TMI coming up: I have birthed a child, gotten two tattoos, ran the Chicago Marathon and had a 2nd degree burn on my leg so the thresh hold of physical pain I have experienced is pretty broad :) If you are concerned about injections being painful, don't be. It does not hurt at all. Uncomfortable, yes a little; painful? Not in the least. Lisa has a calming presence about her so any nerves you may have will melt away once she enters the room. I cannot recommend her enough. My first injections were in May and they are holding up beautifully. Lisa was dead-on, balls accurate (it's an industry term) as to how much/little Botox I needed. My skin was insanely smooth and flawless. My mom could not believe how natural it looked; my sister confessed to "not listening to the last 25 seconds of what you said" because she was too fixated on how amazing my forehead looked!! :) Anyhow. This location and company was formally under the name of NOVACARE. It is now RUSH. I have been coming here on and off for many years. JERRY DAVIS IS A GAME CHANGER! I have been to several other therapy providers in the past. None compare to this. I have been treated for several injuries as well as hip and knee replacement here. I had complications with both surgeries especially my knee because of my body. I was suffering so bad I thought it would never be the same but I was wrong. Not only is the expertise of Jerry and his staff a key differentiator but so is the personal 1 on 1 attention and coaching you get on each visit. I am currently being treated for a fractured spine. I was in bad shape when I came here for this and now I am back to normal life. This guy must have magic hands and should be insured by Lloyds of London or something. I had a 2 day headache going recently and he was able to get rid of it in about 3 minutes using hands on therapy on my neck. This is a after2 days of pain medication that did not help. I was referred to Dr. McDermott and he really helped me resolve my pain. Dr. McDermott listened to me and took time to assess and explain the issues in a way that I understood. For example, I had hurt my lower back with shoveling heavy wet snow over the past weeks, and I was introduced to a procedure called cupping. Cupping is a traditional therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. It's believed to promote blood flow, relieve muscle tension, and reduce inflammation. The great news is it really helped. I was sent on my way with additional direction to follow at home with tendinitis and heat/cold therapy along with specific exercises to work on. So far it's working. Additionally, Dr Romberg staff works with patients with Lazer therapy which aids in weight loss and removal of fine line of normal aging. Even though he's so busy, I find it's always easy to get an appointment. There's no long waits for appointments; you can usually get in to see him that same week. His office staff is professional, super efficient multi-taskers and respectful of each patient's circumstance. He's the doctor people dream of having.
