My review is from ordering through door dash: Finally a 3$ a bang taco place! I went with the chicken, steak and chicharon. Not a fan of their chicharon version. Was expecting crushy not soggy. But the steaks one also freaking delicious. I also added their chalupas n i gotta say, phenomenaly made. I got full with mine n had to save the rest. My only beef was the Thursday special; their Mole wasn't mole at all. So disappointed, Mole is one of those dishes that if a restaurant serves it? I will order it. They gave me chicken n bean not Mole. It had no flavor at all either. It is water to oil vs their Taco meats which had flavor. Makes me nervous ordering the other dishes but I guarantee you i will order the tacos n chalupas again. Nice quick taco fix when I don't feel like driving to my closer truck. It's nice to alternate to. I like supporting local businesses even if they way farther than my favorite ones. read more

This is the food truck on Bloomingdale and Kings. It's wedged between the gas station and the farmer's market. There appears to be enough parking in that area because of the market. There are tables and chairs under the awning that is directly in front of the stationary truck. It's shadier because there's a very large oak tree nearby. The food is definitely authentic. They had quite a variety of menu items including large bags of fried chicharrones. The nice lady who took my order was super patient with me. It took me a while to read the menu and make a decision. I got 3 tacos (Barbacoa, Pastor, and Carne Asada), chicken flautas, and the street corn (for my mother). The corn was the best item. I really liked the seasoned mayo sauce and cheese. It had a nice kick or bite to it (or as mom said, "It's a little pica."). She ate the whole corn on the cob. I only had one bite, but it was very good. The tacos had the right amount of filling, but I didn't detect any seasoning. The meat was kind of bland. The added green sauce gave it some flavor. I added avocado since they didn't have guacamole as a topping. The flautas had a little more flavor, but not by much. There were 4 of them, and they were large and crispy (full of shredded chicken). A good value, but not a whole lot of taste. Maybe the extra sauces that they had on the counter would have given them more flavor. I'll need to go back and try more sauces and more items before updating this review. I'd give them 3.5 stars if I could. The quality and quantity was there. I also like that it's closer to my neighborhood than the other Mexican food trucks in the area. It certainly has potential, and I'll definitely try more items in the near future. read more

This little food cart is pretty good. The food is pretty authentic and the corn tortillas are the bomb. I highly recommend the corn tortillas with tacos. The pricing is a bit on the high end for a food cart, but not so much so that it's prohibitive. I had the azada tacos; thought the meat could've been more seasoned, although it was still pretty good. I look forward to trying more menu items, so I can get a better feel for the business' signature dishes. read more

We left so upset. My mom and I waited 20 minutes for NOTHING! We were excited to eat tacos, came to this food truck, and yes when I saw that it wasn't the normal women that were working I should've just went with my gut and left. Instead there was two teenagers. The male working the register was not paying attention. It was as if he was nervous or something. I repeated my order twice and he read it back to me. I order 8 steak flour tacos. We waited, and waited..., when we finally were called, something told me check and sure enough....I was appalled to NOT only see the wrong food in my boxes, but food Im allergic to. SHRIMP TACOS!!! I got my money back and left. I AM CURRENTLY STARVING, driving to another place to get tacos. Didn't know it was this difficult. I see why they need a new cashier. Love coming here for a quick visit to satisfy the Mexican food cravings! But not everything is as good as it could be and they can be very stingy with the salsa. Come for the tacos, tamales, pozole, corn and menudo! The gorditas and tortas could need some more help and let's make more salsa! Alright. So bf and I were at the splash car wash across the street, and we smelled the intoxicating aroma of the food from this place. So naturally we decided to check it out. We ordered the Carne Asada fries along with a carnitas and rice and bean plate. Outstanding, authentic and not badly priced at all! The owner and other lady there were very friendly, patient, and informative. They let us sample the sauces (I personally recommend the creamy green sauce) oh yeah and the lemonade was pretty bomb too! Do yourself a Favor and go here if you're looking for satisfying Spanish food that won't hurt your wallet. It's nice to see a small business food truck style place in the Valrico/Brandon area. This was the worse place I have ever been. Everything I ordered was cold, nothing had flavor, the portion size was terrible. Great corn tortillas. The tacos are super fresh and fairly well loaded. Creamy green hot sauce is fantastic and they have a super spicy sauce as well. Sometimes the green sauce is a bit salty. Wish they didn't have the sound bar blaring right where you order - but in the land of homogenized tacos (fuzzys, capital, moes, etc) this is a welcome stop for real food. read more
