We needed special recording played during our ceremony and she did it perfectly. The reception was a perfect mix of fast paced music and slow dancing. What really impressed me was how much she cared. Our wedding was in July and she was calling me in April to make sure she had everything she needed so my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything. The owner of the venue was a pain. She was a nightmare to deal with and gave Ashley a hard time, I'll go into that in another review. Ashley was the vision of professionalism in the face of overwhelming rudeness and disrespect. She was very clear that she worked for my husband and I and if the owner didn't like it, they would have to drag her out in handcuffs lol Weddings are always stressful, but the one thing we knew was that we didn't have to worry about Ashley. She was going to do anything and everything to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted and she absolutely delivered. Her energy was unmatched. She coordinated with the photographer and videographer to help make sure I got pictures and video of everything I wanted, played every song I asked for, kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor. She even made the time to join us on the dance floor herself. At the end of the evening my husband and I were the only ones there, but she kept playing with the same energy she had all day so that we could dance alone together the way we did when he proposed. If you want a DJ that is great at her job, cares about your wedding day, or event, and has a wonderful personality, hire Ashley. Don't even talk to anyone else. She is the total package. A great DJ and a great person.

I'll summarize the process:…read more- I emailed with Noah to give some details and set up an initial meeting time - I met with Noah to try some drinks to flesh out the menu (not free tasting, BTW) - I got the contract, finalized details of pick up/take down (complicated during Mardi Gras) and payed 50%. - A list of alcohol for me to purchase was sent out a week before the event. - They set up the day before, show up the day of, do the deed, I pay, and pick up their stuff the next day. Now, I used their glasses, their ice, their bar setup, etc. I only supplied the alcohol and mixers. I ended up with two bartenders: one experienced (Rob) and one learning. In the end, I probably didn't need two for the party of about 40 people. One would have been sufficient. We did three cocktails, one mocktail, one cocktail into a spritzer, one red wine, one white wine and two beers. It was a pretty stellar menu! Price-wise, it was about $1100 for 4 hours, not including alcohol. Seemed like a lot of money but is likely on par with similar services. I was very very happy with their service, their drinks and their set up. They'll be getting a call back for this year's party no doubt!

We played several games and they go rather quickly so you wont ever worry about being bored. I enjoyed the trivia games the most because the questions def made you think and I liked the format of the games.
