Instead, I was only informed upon arrival, which created avoidable delays. At that point, I immediately provided the complete order from Stanford via the patient portal. However, staff asked for a paper copy (non-existent as this was ordered via virtual visit) and proceeded to seek verbal confirmation from Stanford, which did not seem necessary given the complete documentation available. As a result, the visit took approximately twice as long as expected. Additionally, I was asked for clinical details (cholesterol, family history) prior to the CAC without explanation, which felt outside the scope of the imaging. Suggested improvements: * Proactively review and flag incomplete documentation prior to the appointment * Accept digital physician orders from established systems (e.g., Stanford portal) without requiring redundant paper copies or verbal confirmation * Limit or clearly explain non-essential patient questions These changes would significantly improve efficiency and patient experience.

From the moment she walked into the room, she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring. She immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. I think a few areas of opportunity could include: - An easier scheduling system. It's difficult to check on when your next appointment is (if you lost the written card) and moving appointments involve pushing the date out pretty far. I don't know how hard it would be to implement an online system for this, but it could be nice to improve. - The office staff has always been warm and friendly with me, but they do seem fairly busy. It would be helpful for them to provide a little more verbal guidance between transitions in the appointment and to check in occasionally if the wait is longer than expected. All that said, I'm more concerned with the imaging quality and evaluation being top notch -- which from what I can tell, it is. The office itself is older, but comfortable, and the customer service processes are not tech-forward or slick, but work well enough.

Because I have wanted to monitor my breast health in a more healthful, gentle way, this has been a great option for me. The scan technicians have always been very respectful, appropriate, courteous, and gentle. They often utilize the facilities of other practitioners, but they are careful to ensure complete privacy. I do one scan annually and I find it to be quite affordable. I feel happy that thermography is an option for women who prefer not to have an annual mammogram. While mammograms offer different data points than thermograms, I do them less frequently since I am currently low risk. I like the freedom to care for my breast health in this way and appreciate the radiation-free monitoring that thermography provides. Owner, Sage, is so easy to talk with and very competent and personable. It's a win all around in my book!! I encourage every woman to care for your breast health and give them a try.

I really appreciated that I didn't wait long to get in for my mammogram. Great! But the woman…read moreproviding the service was seemingly in a hurry and wasn't very thoughtful in the way she was managing my breasts. "This is my body and you are not handling it as if I am a living person." That's the bad part. I didn't say that but it sure felt like that. I didn't voice my feelings when I felt there was too much pressure. She would get feisty at times like I was supposed to know which way to face, where to put my arms, etc. it seemed odd to me that she shared the mammograms immediately afterward. Asking if I normally have dense tissue. Um okay, isn't the radiologist the one to make decisions to discuss further testing like an ultrasound. If I didn't know any better, I would have been freaking out. But I know I have dense tissue. So to me, that was out of line. When I left the lady at the front desk had a huge bouquet of yellow roses that were individually set up for a patient to take. She offered me a yellow rose and yes of course that was a nice touch after having dealt with the other woman doing the mammogram. Plenty of parking.

Billing is rude and will only email and not talk over the phone. They told me in an email "tmi ",…read morewhich is rude. They billed me for services a year ago, so I paid. Then, they billed me again for 2 years ago. I asked why I'm being billed from two years ago and they blamed the front desk. Their communication skills are poor and I'm never going here again. They never told me that my insurance doesn't cover 3D imaging, until this year. I've had cancer and don't even get me started on why insurance won't cover 3D!
