My Pilates session with Melissa was a lifesaver. After suffering with low-mid back pain and trying…read moreall different methods to no avail (medication, chiropractor, tens unit, inversion table, physical therapy exercises, etc), Melissa suggested Pilates during our Reiki with Biomat session. I had done Pilates DVDs at home but never had a private session so wasn't sure what to expect. Melissa could tell right away that my low back curve was pretty extreme and the exercises I had been told to do by my therapist were actually making things worse. She was able to guide me through exercises that looked simple but really made me focus on my core and form. She also suggested modifications to personalize the exercises for my needs. I left feeling a ton better and can't wait to take her group class in a couple weeks.

The room she performs the Reiki is one of the most beautiful and relaxing rooms I have probably ever been in. I have had a Reiki/BioMat/Aromatherapy session from her and left feeling incredibly relaxed. I also took the Reiki I and Reiki II class she offers and find it hard to put into words what a difference it has made in my life. If you are new to Reiki or Essential Oils Melissa will make sure you feel comfortable and leave with all the knowledge you can, but she won't overwhelm you. If you are experienced with either of them she will help you learn even more. I highly recommend Healing Notes to anyone wanting to learn more about Reiki, Essential Oils, or just feel more relaxed and balanced. I can't say enough good things about Melissa and Healing Notes!

There were 7 of us in our group and she spent time with each person individually answering questions and doing thoughtful readings. She never rushed anyone and made sure everyone had the chance to ask what was on their mind. Afterward we were all comparing our readings and talking about how much they resonated. It was such a fun and memorable experience for everyone. I'm really grateful for the time and care she gave our group and would absolutely book with her again. The process of finding help when you're in a cycle of repeat, emotionally chaotic, feeling checked…read moreout, or trapped in the constant loop of "I don't know", "How do I get through this?" "Why won't this stop?" "What should I do?"... is difficult enough- sometimes even impossible to do on your own. Anyone who knows me knows that when I find something that truly works, I have to share it and pay it forward. That's exactly why I've referred multiple close friends to Tish. I understand that when you're drained of your own energy to start the search for someone to help you regain stability and move through and survive life, so you can finally live it and thrive, it can be overwhelming. Having someone you trust recommend someone they trust makes taking that first step so much easier. That's what Tish has been for me: I trust Tish with people I love because I know she'll meet them with compassion, understanding, and an approach that creates what we need most during times of grief, uncertainty, overwhelm, or chaos: safety. Tish doesn't tell you who to be or how to feel, and that's important. She creates a low-pressure space where you can be honest with yourself (which sometimes can be hard), understand what's happening beneath the surface, and develop practical tools that help you move through life rather than simply survive it. Sessions with Tish are meaningful, and the results are tangible- Her guidance stays with you. We hope that when we get help, we're able to rebuild our confidence, process our emotions with intention, and are able to find our footing again. Honestly, sometimes it takes having to go through multiple therapists or coaches to finally feel this - but Tish is THIS GOOD; of course, you have to be ready, too. If you've been thinking about reaching out for support, let this be your sign to take that first step and invest in yourself. You're worth it (I know you are), and Tish has a remarkable way of helping you remember that. And if you read this far into my review, I think that a part of you knows you're ready to try.

First, Tish is just different. She really is something. After years of searching for the right kind…read moreof guidance, the universe finally brought Tish into my life. I felt instant safety, release, and relief the very first moment I spoke to this wonderful woman. My struggles included severe depression, intense anxiety, deep grief having lost my best friend, and relationship issues. I didn't know where to begin, but she did. We went everywhere, it felt to me anyway. Somehow, I would talk with Tish for two hours every session and it always felt like 5 minutes. I don't know how she kept track of all I said, but each session would end with feeling grounded, at peace, and in the present, with something to look forward to. Every emotion that bubbled up felt honored and normal, including tears and anger. We worked through a lot together. Tish helped me through one of the toughest transitional points in my adulthood, and I let her know from time to time that our conversations STILL help me through my days. I'm living at my fullest based on the empowerment the sessions gave me. I feel self-reliant, grateful, calm, and alive. I know I can pick up the phone and schedule with her anytime. I highly recommend to anyone, especially women who want to really find their inner power and overcome life's really hard disappointments that make us really stuck.

I purchased a one-month massage membership through Groupon and had my first appointment with Geri…read more She does excellent deep tissue work, and I felt incredibly relaxed by the end of the nearly two hour massage. She made a great start on loosening up some areas that are consistently tight, and I can already feel the difference. Prior to your massage, the therapist will chat briefly with you about your goals for the session. They also offer water and a small snack plate (sliced apple and carrot, cracker, and chocolate) which you can enjoy before or after your massage, which is a really nice touch. Following the massage, they'll let you know what areas of tension they noticed, and give suggestions for things you can do at home to help relieve them. Their scheduling system is a little unusual - you don't make an appointment for a certain length of massage. Rather you choose wellness session or full body treatment- each of which has a time range. It's not clear how the therapist decides on the length of the session, although you are able to let them know if you need to be done in a certain amount of time. Also, although they have evening and weekend hours, those seem to be booked well in advance, so if you don't have daytime availability it may be difficult to get in. Street parking is easy to find, but is 2 hours during the day, which might be a problem with longer sessions. Overall this is a really nice place for a massage, and I definitely recommend Geri!
