I've been going here for years I always see the PA Larry…read moreLease he is wonderful . When I've had a sinus infection or respiratory infection he makes sure it gets cleared up. I've taken allergy shots here before they are great on training you so you can do them at home if your insurance charges you every visit. The Dr I used to see was DR Miltech he is now with the office in Matthews now when Mr lease couldn't get me better I saw DR Clyne wow he is terrific , he is a surgeon so he knows his stuff. They also do eye exams I've never been for my eyes but I see they have great eye wear . I have found no better ENT in Charlotte , the front desk is great always pleasant an helpful . Update I recently had nasal surgery by Dr Clyne I had starting having such problems constantly being congested an very stuffy. Dr Clyne fixed my septum an made it easy for me to breathe. I didnt have much pain I was surprised. Just some swelling no bruising . Its been about 3 weeks its still healing but I have a nose like a blood hound now lol He also put tubes in my ears I kept having ear infections like when I was little it took less than 5 mins in his office no pain an no more ear infections. Wonderful office staff love them just make you good :)

My issue has nothing to do with the doctor, but with the person in the eyeglasses area. After my…read morecataract surgery I still wanted to wear my eyeglasses. My prescription (for reading) was only going in the lower portion of the lense. It was explained to me that was called a "progressive" lense...top portion has no prescription. I also needed new lenses in my sunglasses. I assumed the tech understood I wanted them exactly like my regular eyeglasses. Instead of simply saying that, she used other words when discussing the sunglasses. I still assumed they would be exactly the same. After picking up both pairs of glasses, I noticed the sunglasses were "blurry" when looking straight ahead. I knew immediately what happened. My reading prescription had been put in the entire lense. Not just the bottom. When I was finally able to speak to this tech, she told me I had to pay the difference for a "progressive" lense. Not for nothing, but I don't do this for a living. She does. Why on earth wouldn't she explain I needed a progressive lense in my sunglasses?? She didn't. She let me think my sunglasses would be just like my regular glasses! Then had the nerve to insist I was at fault. Sorry, not buying it! SHE is the so called "professional". If I only needed a reading prescription, hence a "progressive" lense on one pair of glasses, why would the second pair be different??? I'm waiting to speak to her manager when she returns from vacation. I do NOT recommend getting your glasses from here!

I have had Tinnitus for over 25 years. The high pitched ringing was always annoying but manageable…read more I knew some CBT, and applying that worked to manage the tinnitus invasion in my life. But there were still times the ringing would get extremely loud for periods then fade back down to my base level. In 2015 I went to an audiologist who tested dozens of hearing aids and sound therapies, and they ended up saying, "We're sorry, but there is nothing to help" me. Then, in 2025 it increased rapidly and drastically. I don't know what the trigger was, but it was not manageable at all. It began to invade my days to the extent that I felt like I was going crazy from it. I got depressed, anxious, and felt helpless. Then I read about a newly FDA approved Tinnitus treatment called Lenire. It works through bimodal stimulation. The more I researched, the more I knew I had to try it. Audiology and Hearing Services of Charlotte offered it! It was a brand new therapy and this is the only place in NC that offered it. The clinic is less than 6 miles from my house. I couldn't believe it. I went for testing, and my insurance required that I try hearing aids first, so I did. Of course that didn't help. Then we got the Lenire and I began treatments. I followed the 3 month program, guided by Dr. Karp, and it is nothing short of a medical miracle. Dr. Karp is so thorough, so caring and so patient. She went above and beyond for me, and through Lenire and CBT especially for Tinnitus, I can live again. If I have a flare, I do Lenire for a week (I own the equipment and can use it forever as required. It is important to remember the a treatment is not a cure) and I feel better again. I have Tinnitus, but it doesn't own me. It's just a thing I have that I can now deal with pretty easily. I couldn't have had this success without Dr. Karp, and I am eternally grateful. I recommend Dr. Melissa Karp with my heartfelt thanks.

I have never walked out of a doctor so upset..I DO NOT recommend bringing your child here…read more My son, 5, struggles with attention and focus. We went in to see Dr. Karp for some adp concerns. During the evaluation, my son was fidgety and struggled to stay focused (as we knew). Dr. Karp seemed to get agitated with his lack of attention. Once again, he is a five year old boy and is currently in the process of being evaluated for his attention concerns as well. At the end of the evaluation, Dr. Karp concluded that she could not diagnose him at the moment due to his lack of attention. She mentioned how he should be evaluated for his attention concerns and get that under control before we continued with further adp evaluations. However, the most upsetting part of this visit was not her addressing his lack of attention. It was her suggesting my son be medicated and then stating that he will not thrive in a regular classroom setting. She said that he should be in a one on one or small group setting and that he cannot get that in the public school system. I am fully aware that my son struggles with focus, which is a BIG reason why I was sent to see Dr.Karp. Do not get me wrong, I will happily do whatever is best for my son. However, as an educator, I know that lack of attention does not mean he needs to be in a special education one on one or small group setting to be able to thrive in school. Proud to say, my son is currently thriving in a general classroom setting. This was extremely unprofessional considering she saw my son for a 45 minute visit and ADHD is not her medical field. I was also very disappointed with the fact that she continued to evaluate him knowing that she was not going to be able to give me any answers but wanted to charge me the full $500 anyway. It was very misleading and a waste of time and money. As an educator and a mother, I am very disappointed in this visit.

I am 81 years old with severe loss of hearing in both ears. In early 2019 I began my experience…read morewith hearing aids searching for improvement. I choose a large national retailer that has an audiology department that was recommended by family members. After the hearing test the audiologist suggested a hearing aid for my right ear but indicated that they had nothing strong enough to be of any help to the left ear. Having no experience with hearing aids and believing what I heard, I purchased the one hearing aid for approximately $1,330. I used the hearing aid for several years with some improvement with my hearing but still had problems with speech recognition. In late 2020 I searched for a better hearing aid on the internet and purchased several sets of OTC hearing aids. As they were digital they were an improvement over my previous hearing aid but in my opinion not the final answer. After consulting more family members and friends with hearing issues I went to another audiologist representing a well known brand. I was fitted with their highest rated hearing aids at a cost of approximately $6,000. These hearing aids worked well until some time in 2025. The audiologist at this time was pushing for an upgrade with a net cost to me around $7,500 which I felt I could not afford. My continued research led me to Danny Pearce at Audibel Charlotte. At the appointment Mr. Pearce did a detailed analysis of my hearing issues and prescribed a set of Starcky Omega 24 AI hearing aids. He demonstrated the aids with custom ear molds and I was impressed enough after the demonstration to order the set on the spot. The main selling point was my "new ability to hear my wife clearly without looking at her" which was a new experience for me (and her as well). I have been wearing the new hearing aids since early in 2026 and could not be more pleased with them. The AI feature is wonderful as improvements to the hearing aids are made automatically when needed. I wear the aids for 12 - 14 hours a day and hear much better than I could 10 -15 years ago. Also the price I paid was a fraction of the amount that I would have paid at the prior audiologist. I would recommend Audibel Charlotte as the best source for the best fit in hearing aids to anyone with any hearig loss.
