I got a call yesterday saying my dads hearing aids had been paired and I coud pick them up today . I asked what time they would be open and was told 9am. After driving 15 minutes and sitting in lines of cars through 10 traffic signals on El Camino Real, I pulled into a space in front at 10:15, The door was locked and no one was there. Either they are so busy they are running staff from one location to another or they can't keep their hours straight. My advice DON'T GO THERE UNLESS YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. CALL BEFORE YOU LEAVE. THEY ARE NOT IN THE CARLSBAD OFFICE ON FRIDAYS. IT'S THURSDAY. MY DAD WILL BE WITHOUT HIS HEARING AIDS UNTIL SOMETIME NEXT WEEK.

Deceptive demonstrations, irksome pressure and poor results for my 2 goals ( hearing my wife when upstairs and hearing my friends to stave off dementia) had soured me on hearing aids which I knew I needed for moderately severe hearing loss. The positive reviews took me to Matt. I couldn't believe the absence of pressure --he let me use demonstrators for about 4 months ( "use 'em as long as it takes") and took impressions of my ear canals for a precise fit. He gradually acclimated my hearing to increasing correction. He cleaned my ear canals (after the medical clinic couldn't) and calls me back every 3 months and works me in if I need an adjustment. Is that a recommendation enough? Well his office manager tops it off.
