The provider I saw seemingly had no info on file for me, so it was like a blind appointment…read more I sent my referral docs myself as well as some medical history/records and my medical group also sent referrals and health records directly to the office but somehow none of it seemed to end up in my chart for the doctor to see. I also followed up twice with office staff prior to my appointment about the intake forms that I was told would get texted to me and both times they acted annoyed that I was asking; my second follow up a man on the phone laughed at me and said the text would be a few days ahead of the appointment but it never came. I even arrived early on purpose for my appointment and told office staff I never received the texted intake form and again they seemed annoyed. They confirmed my cell # and said they'd text them right then for me to fill out but then they had me sign just an arbitration form then almost immediately put me in a room early and I never got that text to fill out the intake forms and the provider came in early. The provider I'm sure did the best they could with zero information and health history for me, but honestly it was a wholly unproductive appointment and I 100% regret coming. I cried in my car after my appointment because I was so frustrated. I waited weeks for this appointment and missed work for this appointment and spent time preparing by sending and ordering records and it was all for nothing. My suggestion is bipass the office staff completely and go old school and bring hard copies of your referrals and any health history/medical records and make your own list of things like medications and hand them directly to your provider so they actually know info about you and why you are there.

I recently took my father to Sonus hearing care specialists to get his hearing aids updated. They…read morehave multiple locations. But I like this location in Seal Beach a lot better than the previous one that we went to the previous year. It is less crowded so, you are not rushed and parking is easy. My father had several appointments. One appointment to test his hearing. Then once the insurance approves. You go in one more time to talk about the hearing aid options and to get your ears measured. Then one last appointment to get properly fitted once they receive the hearing aids. Everyone is really nice and professional. Cherie, the specialist was great and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. I'm sorry, I'm forgetting his name. But he went out of his way to help us overcome a hurdle with the insurance company. Everyone is very professional. My father can hardly hear anything. He was fitted with the Bicros hearing aids system, where one "hearing aid" is transmitting sound to the other. This allows you to receive sound from the deaf side of your head, giving you the ability to hear all around you. They can also be controlled using an app. My father is happy. My Mother is even happier :) We had a really good experience and i definitely recommend trying them out.

Altho I do have some great doctors, to be fair :} It was one of them who referred me to this office and I couldn't be happier.

The audiological evaluation was the most thorough I have ever had, and they even measured my tinnitus level -- something no one had done for me before. They recommended a tinnitus masking device, and it has worked wonderfully. It masks the ringing to the point where I can barely notice it, and it has helped me feel much more relaxed and reduced my anxiety. Beyond their expertise, they were incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns. Dr. Jennifer and Dr. Joselyn are truly amazing professionals, and I am so grateful for the care they provided. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dr. Thomas is old fashioned, which I typically would not ever use in a way with a negative connotation, but the way he spoke to me was not okay and to have a doctor us God as an explanation was not appropriate in my opinion. Even if I was a man - to me yelled at, told I don't understand anything, or lectured saying that my medical history doesn't matter is not appropriate. I have never felt more disrespected by a doctor. I see many negative reviews talking about the front desk staff but I have to say the women up front were more kind than that man ever was. They answered my questions and helped me understand a lot more than he even gave an effort to. It wasn't that the doctor answered me in a way where I couldn't understand him, it was that he literally refused to answer my questions and walked out of the exam room. I would not recommend Dr. Thomas to anybody. Please look somewhere else. Update: Went to see another doctor. After having Dr. Thomas tell me that I was simply allergic to "the city of Long Beach" and I would forever have the issues that I came to him with (strep throat lol), this other ENT recommended a tonsillectomy. After having my tonsils removed it was discovered that I had a large infection attached to one of them which is why I had the recurring issues. Not "allergies".
