Cucumber sushi
Reagan N.

Fair prices, good services, lots of seating, beautiful sushi presentation. Good vegan options and many dishes can be made vegan if you ask them to use tofu instead. The only time you can get a table upon walking in is before a summer concert. They do not take reservations

Sushi was great, location was great. They are just by the water so I think they're missing an opportunity to have indoor/outdoor sushi bar seating to allow for a view but otherwise great food and menu options. It was a tad pricey for what you get but nothing outlandish. Customer service was attentive and prompt, not always the smiliest but helpful and kind nonetheless. I might suggest they attend to the curtain and area around the sushi bar / bathrooms - looks a bit cluttered/run-down, but otherwise great spot for your sushi fix.

Rolls
Tiffany A.

We had this delivered to our hotel and for not eating in the sushi was pretty good. We had a Philly and I forget the other roll, seemed fresh but not very big. We also had pork gyoza. The prices were decent as well.

Sushi was OK nothing impressive but not bad , service was horrid, had to get my own menu and high chair after they gave me a table, took forever to get an order in and for single roll to come out. I won't be back. They had three waitresses , and 5 tables. Very disappointing, save your time and check out one of the other sushi places in bend. The pregnant gal did help me when she noticed I had no water and my food was taking forever, although I was not her table. She deserves 5 stars and a job with more helpful coworkers.

Edamame, Lovejoy Roll and Mt. Hood Roll. Pinot Grigio

It wasn't super busy for a Saturday but kinda seemed like there was limited staff. Theres no host at the entrance just a sign that I didn't quite understand. My waiter was very friendly and my order came out quickly. I ordered the Lovejoy and Mt. Hood rolls, they had potential but the seaweed was really chewy, it took away from the overall experience.

Delicious food and reasonable prices. The restaurant is quiet and friendly, and to-go is also a great option.

This restaurant is so good that I went out of my way to re-download the Yelp app to tell the world…read moreabout it. We ordered the special Tori nigiri rolls, garlic edamame, the eggplant dish, the short ribs, the sleeping serpent roll, the Jake roll, the daikon roll, and more. Each had unique and fresh flavors. You could tell the ingredients were high quality and the presentation was a work of art. In fact, you won't even want to add soy sauce. You won't want to miss out on all the complex flavors. And, the location couldn't be better! Have an evening show at the Tower? This place is right next door! The perfect addition to your night out. Make sure to snag a reservation on the weekend. It's mainly tourist food in bend; over priced well plated generic whole sale feed. five fusion did not break the mold on that. i recommend you go on a first date, so you and your partner can laugh all night at whats being served to you as feed. The plating is very 2002, in a fun and tacky way. clawing for excitement like bend in its own right. this place has been closed and opened, againe and againe under new management which keeps the same vibe of cheap and expensive tourist feed. feed not food. anyway, avoid it. go leave downtown, there are plenty of awesome places to eat besides this soon to be "under new management" dive sushi bar.

The stand outs at this place: Fried cheese with curry sauce - really tastes reminiscent of burmese Shan tofu curries and the cheese was crispy and somehow light and airy Shrimp tacos- perfectly fried and loaded with juicy shrimp and some miraculous cilantroy creamy sauce with cabbage slaw . Lomo Saltado - a lot of great sear and smokiness in the steak and veggies. Good umami flavors. Honorable mention are the Dan Dan noodles - they lean a little peppercorn heavy and don't have as much tahini as I'd like - but still yummy To avoid- the vegetable curry- it's watery and thin and doesn't really have any depth of flavor or complexity - leans very cilantro lime and has no funk. Service is fantastic and friendly If you come after 5:30 - you will have a 30 minute ish line to wait in - but that fried cheese is worth it !

Service (7/10): you order at the cashier and then the server would bring your food to the table. You also grab your own utensils and waters so it was a lot of self service, which worked out for the better for this place because the staff seemed pretty busy. Overall the service was OK to me. Vibes (8/10): the inside looked pretty cool since they had a big wall with graffiti art and they had good music playing in the background so overall a good vibe. However, the place is kinda small so I wouldn't recommend for groups bigger than 6 imo. Parking: we came on a Tuesday afternoon and there was plenty of parking in the plaza to the right of the restaurant. My only concern for this place was that I saw one of the servers switching between taking orders at the register and preparing food with her bare hands without washing her hands in between nor wearing gloves during food preparation so that was a bit concerning for me.

The flavor was awful...might as well go get some instant ramen for a better experience. The karaage chicken was so over-fried it was basically shoe leather. I called the restaurant afterward to let them know about the mistakes and give them an opportunity to address it, but they didn't even answer the phone. Forgetting a topping once is a mistake. Forgetting it on three separate ramen orders, serving badly overcooked chicken, and then not answering the phone is just poor service. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

I do miss my bentos I would get when I ride the Shinkansen. Ambiance: small, cute, clean shop. I liked it. I feel there are limited ingredients in Central Oregon. You order at the register and then find a seat and wait for your meal. The food came out in about the right amount of time, neither hurried nor overly delayed. I ordered one of the menu items from the board, curry with chicken katsu. The curry was good, but the katsu was the star. It was very, very crispy on the outside and tender inside. Lunch for two, including tip, was around $45 to $50. This seems to be the going rate in Bend for a good lunch for two. For a casual lunch, I would certainly recommend Bend-O Bento. I'd be happy to return and try some of their other menu items.
