You see, all of them will ship your stuff, but only some of them will also pack your stuff. Our local Fed Ex Center does not pack, and this one in West Hartford was the closest one to us that did. So we headed off to Corbins Corner and took care of business at this FedEx Center. We explained our mission to the attendant and shared our e-mail with the account number and shipping address, etc. As always, my wife was super nice and courteous, but we were both struck by the robotic cold fish demeanor of the lady that expedited for us. I walked around the store, saw their huge printing operation and inventory of office supplies stocked on shelves and racks -this is a very cool place to do business in or browse around. A better human touch at the sales counter would have added a 5th star........

I stopped by Staples in Simsbury to print some end of the school year materials. One of the items I…read moreneeded to get printed was on a flash drive. There was a very nice gentleman named Adam who printed these colorful cards for me. They had a watermark, that he asked if I'd like it removed, I told him yes please and he did. I was very happy with the service I received from Adam. The other thing I needed printed was some pictures off my email. Sadly Adam was gone, a young girl who looked to be about 17 took his place. I emailed them the pictures and I explained to her that the pictures should be small, and several of them can fit on one page. She said they "can't do that". There were a lot of pictures, that were also printed on fancy hard stock paper, that was completely unnecessary. It is so wasteful to print one small picture in the center of a full sheet of paper. The total came to $68.00, that's completely ridiculous. She called the manager over, who offered to give me $10.00 off. That's still robbery. I didn't get the pictures. Teacher's personal budgets don't expand very far as it is. Adam was very friendly, personable and helpful. The other associate was none of those things. At Staples you can find anything you may need for your office or classroom.
