I've never seen people move so slow other than working at the DMV anytime you ask them a question they refuse to make eye contact with you and just shrug their shoulders and no one seems to be able to answer a question. When we left the store, my nine-year-old daughter looked at me and asked me how come people aren't very helpful in that gas station... It was turned into a life lesson for my daughter we don't go to the Sheetz in Lillington... if they were the cheapest and only gas station in town, I would still drive 20 minutes away, just to go somewhere else at this point that's how bad the service is beware and stay away!!!!

My experience would have been relatively uneventful, but his experience definitely was interesting. And by interesting, we mean that his wait was unnecessarily long, he really didn't enjoy hearing how overworked the pharmacist was nor did he want to hear about her side effects with the COVID booster; he just wanted to take care of what he needed to get taken care of and get back to work.

In a confluence of events, just as I was preparing myself to walk and mumbling impolitely about not having any water or soda with me for the walk, I spotted the Exprezit and coasted in. Gas for the car, a Cheerwine for me: perfect. Exprezit is not quite old-school, but that was a good thing. The gas pumps don't have the credit card option -- pump the gas; walk in to pay. Small town, human interaction. It's not a lost art after all. Exprezit has all the requisite convenience store items and one very sweet employee who chats with customers like they're old friends. If I had to run out of gas somewhere, I'm glad it was here.
