The wait time is significant enough that I believe I will be changing urgent care facilities. I have used Patient First since I moved to the area five years ago, but I shouldn't have to wait for an hour or two to see a physician or PA at an urgent care that doesn't have a full waiting room. I understand that sometimes there is a rush. That was not the case the last two times I have been in. Don't get me wrong, I have really enjoyed working with Patient First. The facility itself is great and very clean. The staff are friendly and caring. The doctors and PAs have always treated me with respect and been very helpful. But with all the competition there is for urgent care facilities in the area I think I can do better elsewhere. I am not sure what causes this facility to take so long. There seem to be enough staff to get people registered and enough nurses to take a history, BP, weight, etc. Perhaps the bottle neck occurs at the number of doctors staffed at any one time. I am sure an administrator could figure it out in ten minutes if they tried. Maybe now that they know they are losing business as a result of under staffing they will make changes. I know it is quickly becoming the reputation of the franchise. Sorry, again I think it is a great facility and I am pleased with everything but sitting in an exam room for over an hour for a 5-10 minute exam.

I looked online today to check the hours because I needed to be seen around midday and wanted to see if they closed for lunch. I did not see posted closure hours, so took a chance. I have to say, I was disturbed by all the negative comments based on my own experiences. I went in at 1250 and, yes, they were closing between 1300 and 1330 for lunch BUT offered me the choice of walk-in after OR schedule an appointment at 1530. I thanked them, but declined both because my PCP had offered to get me in at 1330 and I have rampantly spreading infected poison ivy and every second counted. (IYKYK) The office staff was good natured and friendly and I feel they gave me reasonable options to be seen. As for the other times I have been there, they have been for urgent care when I could not get into my PCP (who also has an Urgent Care option, but it is usually a pretty long wait because like everyone else, I often need to be seen on a Monday). I have consistently received very professional, thorough, considerate, compassionate, and comprehensive care. Prescriptions are always sent promptly to where I request. They even called to follow up on my progress once! If an upper respiratory infection lingers (I'm asthmatic. Again...IYKYK.) and I have to follow up with my PCP, they agree with the protocols I received here. I have no complaints. I don't like giving five star reviews when there have been such negative ones, because people think they are shills. (At least I do.) But, I really do think highly of the providers I have seen at this practice.

My husband and sons also see Dr. Amir Alemzadeh and Dr. Mousavi. Now, must admit, I left the practice about 3 years ago because of my work/home schedule and found a holistic doc in the area. When Dr Alemzadeh started one day a week in Stafford - I made my appointment for January 2nd! Great start to the new year. I highly recommend this team of doctors, they have great bed - side manners, are professional, and I never feel rushed. Quest Diagnostics (blood work) is conveniently located in the same building. If you want a doctor that's willing to spend time to get to know you - go to Cardinal Internal Medicine.

I was examined by Abu Sheriff, who completely missed the issue, dismissed it as an "infected skin tag," and sent me home with a prescription. My symptoms grew significantly worse. Two days later, the agonizing pain forced me to go to Patient First for emergency care. After a proper, thorough examination, the doctor there found that it was not a skin tag at all--it was a large, live tick that had been embedded in my neck for weeks. They removed it immediately.Because Abu Sheriff failed to perform a basic, careful examination, I carried a live tick for days longer than necessary. I have now officially tested positive and been diagnosed with Lyme disease as a direct result of this delayed removal and severe oversight.I have full medical documentation, photographs, and records from Patient First proving this negligence. This office is a major patient safety hazard. If you value your health, avoid this facility and this provider.
