I had a sore throat and was congested, yet the doctor that day claimed it was a sinus infection and prescribed me antibiotics. I had to ASK, ASK....to be tested for COVID and strep. The doctor was okay with it, but the nurse who saw me that day overheard me and said in a very snobby and know it all tone "she doesn't need that test". By the way, if you were that nurse just know the walls are transparent and the patient can hear everything you say. They also didn't caution me to monitor my symptoms and see if it progresses worse. Oct 10, 2024 - at lunch time I decided to take a COVID test and sure enough....POSITIVE FOR COVID. Luckily I didn't start the antibiotics bc I was very distrustful of the diagnosis. The nurse and doctor who saw me should know that I can tell they either don't care about their patients or need to be re-educated on how to do their job. The urgent care had only one other person being seen at the same time as me so they were not in a rush. I feel very disrespected and will not be coming back.

I had been sick for…read more5 days with a sore throat, headaches, chest congestion, fatigue, coughing and then got laryngitis so decided it was time to seek urgent care. I had gone on their website last night and booked an appointment. That process was simple and straightforward. Once at the clinic, I was greeted immediately and given paperwork to fill out and waited just a few minutes before the med tech took me back to do vitals, etc. He was very nice, professional and pleasant. After a few minutes Jessica Lagenfeld, Nurse Practitioner, came in, and we reviewed my symptoms, how I was feeling, and she ordered a Covid test, a flu test and a chest x-ray to see if I have pneumonia. All those tests came back negative, thankfully. She wrote me several scripts to alleviate my symptoms and bronchitis and I was sent home. Jessica was terrific! She was professional, personable, great bedside manner. I'll definitely be back when I need urgent care. There's a reason ExperCARE has received "Best of" for many years. They've got it all: The quality of care, the pleasant and welcoming staff, the cleanliness of the facility and just the overall office experience.

During this entire time, they hadn't even bothered to check us in. After another 15 minutes, they came back and asked us to finish filling out paperwork that should have been handled right away. In total, we sat in the waiting room for over an hour before the check-in process was even complete--not before being seen by a provider, just to be officially checked in. The level of incompetence and lack of urgency from the front desk staff was unbelievable. They were unorganized, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, showing no consideration for a sick child or for patients' time. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place altogether and going to the other urgent care on the island, where you'll likely find staff who at least know how to do their jobs.

She went back after 10 days taking the antibiotics because she got worse; Again, the Dr only looked down her throat and at her neck and said you have strep and gave her the same meds without even testing her! Today, 4 days later, she's worse and so sick, she went to a different Urgent Care in Savannah where she was actually tested with immediate results - NO STREP! NO MONO! I wouldn't tell anyone to go to this Urgent Care location because the Drs are too lazy to take a simple test for an accurate diagnosis...... I paid with my credit card. a month later the check came through the bank. No Credit for it, no phone call, nothing. Today I went back and paid with a check again. We will see what happens. Oh and I wasn't given a receipt for it. My fault, I should have ask for one. But you can bet I won't be paying for this visit twice. Make sure you get a receipt.
