When I was originally swabbed early on Saturday, they advised 24-48 hr turnaround for results. Two days later on Monday, the front desk explained it was late because their lab was closed for Memorial Day and wouldn't be providing results until Tuesday. This was frustrating as I took the test specifically for urgent travel and would have gone elsewhere had I known the usual 48 hr wait was now going to be 72 hrs. Later that same day, I received a text in the evening with results that had been published by a lab a couple hours earlier. Seems the lab was open! Communication here is poor. I normally prefer to support small businesses but after my experience at ExperCare I would recommend going to Walgreens or CVS for Covid testing to avoid frustration.

Anyways he told me I needed to go eat something to make my urine smell which is all over weird to me because who is just smelling peoples urine??? That made me extremely uncomfortable but he said he wouldn't push the refusal through and to just come back ...so I did what he said and when I came back the girl at the front desk clearly didn't know he told me to come back and was getting a little rude because I tried to redo my drug screen but needed a new code I explained to her he hadn't pushed it through and I guess she caught an attitude so I asked the speak with the tech that helped me in the first place....he came out and said "I'm sorry I tried to everything in my power to not push it through but I had to refuse it, call your employer and have them send you another code." So because my urine didn't smell I was inconvenienced and by the grace of God my employer sent me another code for me to redo my screening (which they weren't obligated to do) but I have go back to this weird ass place and I'm annoyed because there's a high chance my urine wont have a smell again. All I can say is I hope they pay them well to be out here smelling peoples urine because ain't no way in hell am I putting my nose up to a cup someone peed in. I've NEVER experienced this before when doing a drug screen. Very much weird and uncomfortable.

Until recently, my experiences have been consistently positive. I have always felt heard, respected, and well cared for. I've been dealing with a recurring cyst/boil on my upper left shoulder for about 10 years. In December 2024, I saw PA Beatriz Bidgood in the Savannah office while in significant pain. She provided excellent care, scheduled a follow-up, and later confirmed that the cyst sac had come out and that the area would heal from the inside out. However, toward the end of December 2025, I began experiencing malodorous drainage from the previously healed site. Even on days without drainage, there was still a concerning odor. I scheduled appointments with Carlie Daniels on January 6th and January 20th. During those visits, she acknowledged the odor and suggested the cyst sac might still be present, despite not feeling anything on examination. I shared that I had been told the sac had already been removed, but she recommended I see a plastic surgeon to get my shoulder cut opened. Following that recommendation, I underwent surgery on March 6th with Dr. Dascomb. The next day, he informed me that there was no cyst sac present and nothing was removed. Three weeks post-op, I began experiencing the same drainage and malodorous smell from the incision site. So I scheduled a post op follow up and was seen yesterday. At my follow-up visit with Carlie in the Pooler office, I left extremely disappointed. My husband and I were interrupted several times by Carlie while trying to explain ongoing concerns. I felt dismissed, discarded and disrespected. At one point, the concern about the odor (which I associate with possible infection) was mocked by Carlie doing air quotes with her fingers. She told us that she could not help me. I was advised to return to my primary care provider, despite my primary being the one who referred me to dermatology in the first place. This has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I now have a significant $2,000 medical bill at the plastic surgeon's office and have gone through a painful surgical recovery without resolution of the issue. I believe strongly in this practice based on my long history here, but this experience was not in line with the standard of care I have come to expect. While I will continue with Georgia Skin and Cancer Clinic, I will not schedule with Carlie Daniels again. I understand that she's young and extremely inexperienced in her field, but it blew my mind that she didn't even think to consider having me see Dr. Smith and/or one of her colleagues who may have more experience with cysts than she does. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as patients trust this clinic for thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate care.
