I'm currently without any health insurance and going through some flu-like symptoms. I love my PCP,…read morebut can't afford the trip until my new health insurance kicks in. After calling out from work, I looked around online and saw the minute clinic near me. They open up at 8:30 am and seem to close around 7-7:30 pm, with an hour closed for lunch (2 pm). Weekend hours are a bit shorter but I think they're open 7 days a week. Booked my appointment online, only had to wait about 10 minutes tops after arriving and checking in. After booking, you'll get texted/emailed a code, just type that in at the kiosk in the store and give them a few other pieces of info/sign crap, and you're good to go. It's located just off the pharmacy to the side, so you'll get to stare at the people waiting in the ridiculous pharmacy line while you wait! The provider (sadly I didn't get her name) was awesome. She did NOT order any unnecessary tests, especially knowing I was uninsured. She took the time to walk me over and get something OTC to help me out. I really appreciated that. I got my diagnosis without the ridiculous ER or walk-in clinic bill. In fact, minute clinic posts their prices online, so no big surprises if you're paying cash. I'd go here for any non-emergency if I couldn't see my PCP, or didn't have insurance. Heck, I'd still go back once insurance kicks in for simple stuff. I wish they had more of these and more providers like the one I saw today.

So the nurse or whoever talks to you in beginning right before dr comes in shouldn't be working anymore she literally asked me at least 5 times in a row are you allergic to anything which between her which was already too much and the dr I was extremely angry. Then I'm telling you never experienced anything like this she says so you do drugs but the way she was with that hard to explain how it made me feel so I was literally about to be like you know what you got me at that point just to be a smart ass yes I take every thing there is just before I came in I put up my butt like what is wrong with you lady who does what you do and if you do this with everyone how hasn't anyone complained she was old probably way past retirement age but come on needless to say that experience was so horrendous I will definitely not be going back after all these years. They either need to have a talk with that lady or tell her she needs to retire or let her go. I had my whole evening planned but after that experience I was done for the night so did nothing got nothing done ruined whole night never expected that's why I went when I did went by previous experience.

I'm biased to Virtua, since they're my employer and a TREMENDOUS organization to work for, but I…read moretruly had a stellar experience! For the first time in my life, my back went out yesterday morning (after simply bending down to pick up my work laptop bag?!!!!!). Thankfully, only one person was ahead of me at around 7:40 p.m.. I signed in (took less than 10 minutes) and paid, then had a seat. I was called in only after less than 15 minutes, which made me very happy, as the pain was bad, and the day was way too long!!! Nice male MA. I saw Dr. Fine. She was exceptional. Very pleasant, thorough, and hooked me up with a plan. Only a muscle relaxer was ordered electronically through my pharmacy. The rest of the medications were OTC. I saw nothing of what other Yelpers did! Very happy patient!

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, I drove my daughter to the Virtua Urgent Care, since their website…read moresaid they are open to take patients until 8:45 PM. We arrived at 8:00 (I looked at my watch) when I dropped my daughter at the curb so she could go in to register. It was pouring and I parked the car and went in to wait with her. I confirmed when I entered that they are indeed open until 8:45 PM. The front desk employee was checking in another patient, so my daughter stood to wait near the door. She looked up at my daughter several times. When she was done with the seated patient, it was 8:10 PM and she asked my daughter what she came in for. My daughter said that she had blisters/rash and was in severe pain. The woman coldly said that Virtua Urgent Care stops accepting patients at 8:10 PM and would not accept my daughter. I asked the Virtua Employee: Why does the door state they are open until 8:45 PM? Why is there not a sign stating that they accept no patients after 8:10? Why was the door not locked? Why did she look up at my daughter several times after she entered and saw me enter the facility, but kept my daughter waiting near the door (in pain and standing) for more than 10 minutes, only to turn her away?? I was told it was "Virtua's policy" and not hers. That sounds like a load of bull to me. Virtua Hospitals have been steadily going down in care, as they continue to expand more and more. Unless there is absolutely no other choice and I'm desperate, I have no intention of using the services of any Virtua-related care. Cooper is where I have gone for several years and always look first for Cooper affiliation when searching for a provider, specialist, or facility. They are top notch and make Virtua appear as a "hillbilly hospital." I will take my family only to Cooper from now on. By the way, my daughter's Cooper primary care doctor saw her the following morning and diagnosed her with shingles, a VERY PAINFUL, but fortunately a treatable illness. Thanks for NOTHING Virtua!
