They have a private parking lot (with tons of up close parking) When I walked in I was the only patient in the waiting room, Maddie immediately was concerned (she was working the front desk taking all the information) she told me I looked like I was in excruciating pain and was genuinely concerned. I explained to her what was going on, and she said she would have to check with the doctor if they would even see me or send me to a Hospital. Not even 2 minutes later the doctor came out and I explained everything to her, she told me 100 percent to come on back and she would see me. I was then taken back to the exam room and Camille took my vitals. She commented on my heart rate being really high and how I looked really uncomfortable, she was extremely genuine talking to me. I know every doctor and nurse usually say things like this, but when Camille told me she wishes she could help take my pain away and hopes I get better soon, I could tell she really meant it. megan jendrossek, the provider that saw me, was extremely helpful, down to earth and sincere. This is the first time in a long time that I've been to an urgent care / hospital where it didn't seem like a factory. It actually felt like they cared. I have no idea why this place has such a low rating. This place went above and beyond and they even called me the next day to check on me. They asked how I was doing and if I had any further questions. They were extremely warm and professional. the provider, megan jendrossek noticed my dad in the waiting room and asked if she could talk to him and thank him for his service (noticed his military shirt) and talked to him for a bit and how her father did 30 years. So she was extremely friendly and personable This place literally got me in and out of here in about 45 minutes IF THAT. It was that fast. They knew I was heading out of town with my dad for two days and needed antibiotics ASAP. They sent it to the fastest pharmacy they knew and we were on the road within 1 hour total. Now I have gotten 2 bills for a visit over 4 months ago due to the wrong insurance being given to third party labs. When I called this office to verify our insurance they have the correct information at the front desk. I asked for the billing department and was told they will have the same information so it's a waste of time to call. I still called and got forwarded to a voicemail mid business day. These labs are getting the wrong info from somewhere but I won't know because billing doesn't answer their phone. I'll be finding another urgent care from now on. They get a 2 because the visit was mediocre and not treated as "urgent" but we still got seen.

They always lead with the happenstance that there is a long wait. However, they move as quick as they can. I did have a long wait but they were able to handle my problem quickly. Patch me up, provide me with antibiotics and pain meds, and send me in my way home. Doctors and PAs provide great recommendations and actually care about you as a whole. No racism or prejudice. Referred by dental office who assured me "Patient First will take it seriously". Recieved the tiny amount of medicine needed to make it to the dentist in 18 hours. The doctor came into the room and only LOOKED at my daughter and said they didn't think it was broken and refused to do an xray. So I will be taking my daughter back to her pediatrician to actually get an exam. If you like your life or your kids life I would not go here. It is the biggest waste of time. I will be reaching out to the medical director and regulatory bodies after my experience so hopefully other people won't be wasting their time and insurance on these uncaring providers. Just wanted to give others a heads up to avoid this place at all cost!!! Went to First Call in Gambrills ( previously known as Chesapeake Ergent Care, w/same contact info) They were incredibly well run. -Open 7 days! -no appt needed -wait in-vehicle -lines are outside -Rapid & send out test -Test was not painful, just a bit uncomfortable The swab seemed to be flexible -even with a double line of 12-15 cars, it was well organized, supervised traffic director, smooth process, and a bit over an hour total time spent there ! I arrived around 1:50 AM experiencing severe pain radiating from the front of my body to my back, along with chest pain and difficulty breathing. I informed the registration staff that I was in excruciating pain and could barely speak because of my condition. Despite explaining my symptoms, I was told I would have to wait because several people were ahead of me. I then remained in the waiting room for approximately three to four hours while my condition worsened. During that time, my pain became unbearable, my breathing became more difficult, and by the time I was finally called back, I could barely walk or breathe comfortably. I understand emergency rooms can become busy, but waiting hours while experiencing chest pain, severe pain, and breathing difficulty was frightening and unacceptable. My concern is not with the medical staff who treated me once I was admitted, but with the registration and wait-time process. I strongly encourage Luminis Health to review its triage and patient reassessment procedures to ensure patients with serious symptoms receive more timely attention and care. I also ask that this feedback not be met with a generic response stating that the matter will be reviewed. Concerns regarding emergency room wait times and triage procedures are clearly ongoing issues, and patients deserve to know what meaningful changes are actually being implemented to address these repeated complaints and prevent similar experiences in the future.
