She is so sweet and kind. The nurse that helped me before the doctor came in, I believe her name was Daisy (I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not) was EXCELLENT! She made me feel so comfortable and safe. I've had bad experiences at doctor's offices from a child to adult, so my fear of them causes me to have major anxiety before any appointment. But after speaking with not only Daisy & Dr Chang, but the front desk women too, I felt so at ease! Since I was a new patient I did have to call prior to get set up, which was a quick and easy process with whomever the man was that helped me. I get COVID had brought challenges for every employer. This however, isn't COVID related. It's just poor management overall. Run, don't walk, away from this place. This is normally a procedure handled by Scripps Urgent Care or at a doctor's office. However Nurse Charm (her name) and Nurse Practitioner Lee, who attended me there decided to tackle the issue. They worked to clean out all the ear wax that was holding it in and successfully removed it. This is just another example of the excellent care from the Scripps organization that I have received over the past 35 years. I call it "going above and beyond" their current mission.

During my visit, I experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, lack of follow-up, staff behavior. What was most concerning was lack of communication. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that healthcare professionals work under significant pressure. However, patients and families deserve clear communication, respect, and timely care. In my case, I had to wait 3 days for an MRI after that their wasn't a care plan to follow up. I had to advocate for myself for proper treatment. I am sharing this feedback not simply to complain, but in the hope that management will review these concerns and take steps to improve the patient experience. I would appreciate having someone from leadership contact me to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your attention.
