She is always responsive and available no matter the hour. She is the most well networked doctor I've ever met. My daughter needed to see a plastic surgeon for a birthmark removal and I had trouble getting an appointment. Dr. Weems called the surgeon directly and I had an appointment the next day. I have many more stories like this highlighting the ways she's saved us. Best investment and decision we've made! We only have the best things to say!

Weems has no privileges at suburban hospitals, and has no relationships with any specialist and no ability to get you in any sooner than if you cold called on your own. Most recently, she ghosted us when we asked for post-surgical pain meds for our 11 year-old who had a laceration so deep the tendons in her hand were visible. Ghosted! You can get equivalent or better care at an urgent care clinic from a non-doctor. without having to spend thousands per year for nothing. Not a "concierge" doctor at all, save your money.

This review is for the Hobart location only…read more When you pass this business on the street, it is plastered with signs saying it offers "urgent care." I tried to take a relative there on Saturday. It was closed. In fact, this "urgent care" location is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Apparently "urgent" only applies during regular business hours. I tried taking the same relative to this location on Tuesday at 12:30pm. Middle of a week day. No holiday. On Tuesday afternoon, there are no medical staff present. Zero. Zip. None. Nobody. Not because it was lunchtime, and somebody had stepped out for a sandwich. Oh, no. The office was not staffed with any medical professional - not an m.d., not a nurse, not an EMT, not a paramedic, not a CNA. The only employee present was a medical billings person acting as a receptionist. He was very nice and apologetic, and he called another location to see if a medical professional could come over, since an actual sick person had entered the building. I telephoned this company's Merrillville location, and was told Merrillville had two physicians on duty, and that there was about an hour-long wait at that time. I said thank you to the billing person, and I made a couple phone calls and found a real live doctor's office that would see my family member. So, citizens of Hobart, you have an "urgent care" facility that maintains regular office hours only. Which really doesn't matter, because you can't get medical care there anyway. I cannot make this stuff up.

I have never injured myself and have spent the last 20 years heavily investing in chiropractic, acupuncture, massage and other forms of body work and supplementation. My muscles seem to always return to their native state of abnormally tight which affects my daily life. I have worked with James twice now and have to say that what he is doing is both unique and incredible. He takes into account the emotional stressors and trauma that we are holding in our bodies. If you are frustrated with pain and feel stuck or if you want to avoid spending lots of money on other types of body work, I highly recommend seeing James first.

Up front he told me it was not about knees or ankles, but body mechanics. Also told me my back was going to be next. He quickly identified problem areas, told me why and what I needed to do (stretching, massage gun, exercises & roller balls). Each session he teaches you how to heal yourself. It's not always fun but it works. I have made more progress with him in a few months, than literally years of physical therapy. Thank you Dr. Bach!

My Father-In-Law was transferred to this facility for difficulty breathing. After he was there…read morethey discovered multiple blockages in his heart. They decided, after a couple of days to do an angiogram. During this procedure, something came loose that caused a stroke, a grade 3, one of the largest strokes you can have. This facility is not prepared for stroke care, they offer none. So, if you pay attention to anything about strokes, once you have a stroke, the first hour is the MOST critical. It took FOUR hours (from the time the procedure for the heart started to the time they rolled my FIL into Community to try to start to remove the blockage for the stroke) for my FIL to be transported to Community hospital and then receive the treatment he needed to have the blockage from the stroke removed. By the time we laid eyes on my FIL, my husband and I just knew that it was too late and the damage had been done. Community did a great job on the following, but St. Mary's not being fully equipped to be ready for a stroke is where is all started. They should not be licensed to even perform these procedures. By the next afternoon, we had to make the decision to put my FIL on hospice. I would NEVER recommend this facility as they can't solve a problem if it arises. I hope no other family has to go through what we just went through. For the sake of your loved one's health, avoid this facility at all. During our time at Community, this is a full-service facility that is really like a Trauma Center, but is not actually "classified" as a Trauma Center. If it is at all possible, I would just go to Community.
