The times I went there I'd always gotten good service when I went to the minute clinic for quick check ups

DO NOT GO TO THIS MINUTE CLINIC!!! All I needed was a simple throat culture and even though the…read morewebsite said they can do same day appointments, I waited for four hours and still could not be seen. The doctors when walking past wouldn't even make eye contact with me and gave me unreasonable excuses for why it was taking me so long. When I finally asked one of the doctors where my name was in the line, she told me that I wasn't even ON THE LIST because I didn't have an "appointment" meanwhile people who were checking in on the screen just like I did were being seen before me, and then she made me feel like them being backed up was my fault. I am absolutely beside myself, never going to this MinuteClinic again.

Sorry for the length. This pharmacy will never win any awards for reliability or customer service;…read morethe employees are sullen and act overworked. But most days, I am able to accomplish what I'm trying to do. Today, however, was not one of those days. I made an appointment for a booster on the CVS website with their Minute Clinic (MC), arrived early, and received a text that instructed me to check in at the MC kiosk with the code in the text. I did so, and sat and waited. After a few minutes, an employee from the MC approached me and asked what I was doing there. I said I was there for a booster. The gentleman condescendingly implied that I didn't read the text correctly and that I was supposed to check in at the pharmacy. The text VERY CLEARLY said to check in at the MC kiosk. But, as instructed, I walked over the pharmacy and waited for about 10 minutes, then was asked what I needed. I said a booster, and that I had tried to check in at the MC kiosk but was told that was wrong and that I needed to check in at the pharmacy. The pharmacy employee rolled her eyes, said no, you need to check in at the MC kiosk. I said I did, but they sent me to her. She shrugged and walked away from me. So I went back to the MC, and told my story to another MC employee. She said no, I needed to go back to the pharmacy. I said they really don't want me there and they sent me to her. She then walked me over to the pharmacy and told the pharmacy employee that I needed a booster. That employee said I will have to make an appointment on the CVS website. I said, "That's what I did!" They said, no, you made an appointment at the Minute Clinic, we don't take walk-ins, and you need to make an appointment online for the pharmacy. My appointment was for 0930. It was now 1000. I left the store without getting my booster. FAIL

I think I have had it with this place…read more This is the 3rd time I am being turned down from here for urgent care. The reason? "We are overbooked and understaffed." I would believe that if the clinic is full of noise and waiting room is full of patients but the entire place was empty. There was pin drop silence in the clinic and absolutely no one in the waiting room. So this is utterly disrespectful. Please remove "walk ins are welcome" from the doors. 0/5

UPDATE: I just got a text message warning me of a $25 late cancellation fee. So not only are they…read moresuper shady they're probably going to try and steal more money from me for a fraudulent appointment that I never scheduled I can't trust All Care ever again. Today I got a completely random email from them about my appointment for tonight... in Georgia. I LIVE and am currently IN Arlington VA. I called the Arlington location around 1pm today to try and get some information before possibly booking a visit. On the call I gave the receptionist my information so she could look up my history/account but I never booked anything because they couldn't provide the service I needed at that location (x-ray). And then a few hours later I am booked for an appointment in Georgia? I don't know what's going on with them but beware they are extremely shady. Also, a couple years ago they charged me almost $400 for a specialist visit when I literally just walked into the clinic for a basic injury and saw the first doctor available. I got a bill from my insurance months later demanding the remaining balance for the alleged specialist consultation (not covered) that never happened. That was such an unbelievable headache to resolve. I think this is a thinly veiled criminal enterprise.

Made an appointment, got there 20 minutes early at 8:50 am. They open at 9 am, appointment at 9:10…read more No one showed up to open the clinic or work. Wasted my time. Had to find an alternative, which cost me more.

Hello, I want to…read moretell my story because I hope it will help CVS change its polices and procedures so that in the future other people will avoid the problems I faced. Briefly, after consulting with my doctor about my travel plans and lifestyle, she and I decided on a course of Bexsero, a meningitis B vaccine. Because of the proliferation of vaccines available at pharmacies like CVS, her practice no longer carries Bexsero and she told me to go to a CVS or Walgreens. She even sent a prescription to my regular CVS pharmacy at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington, DC. My pharmacy transferred the prescription to the CVS at 6 Dupont Circle because they didn't stock the vaccine, but I was told by that pharmacy that because of my age they could not administer the prescribed vaccine. I was told I needed to go to a CVS Minute Clinic. I made an appointment at the Clinic at 6 Dupont Circle, took time off from work, but was told by the clinician that he didn't care that I had a prescription. He would not administer the prescribed vaccine, although he admitted it was in stock and he had the authority to administer it if he chose. He said I was too old. I pointed out that many people are eligible for the vaccine who are older than the typical age range (and I had a prescription), and he said those people should go see a doctor (which I had already done). I went back to my doctor and she suggested I ask whether CVS would dispense the vaccine to me, so I could take it from the pharmacy to her, and she could administer it. This was amenable to the CVS pharmacist I spoke with. However, to obtain the vaccine in this manner meant it was no longer covered by my insurance. Thus, a vaccine that should have cost me nothing will end up costing me over $500, if I even get it. First, I have yet to actually receive the vaccine from CVS so I don't even know if this suggestion by my doctor will work. Regardless, I will transfer my prescriptions to a nearby nonprofit pharmacy and never, ever, use CVS for any healthcare needs going forward. Multiple CVS pharmacists told me to go to the Minute Clinic, yet the Minute Clinic practitioner at 6 Dupont Circle Washington DC told me to go away. This treatment is not acceptable, and CVS should clarify the circumstances under which it will and will not administer vaccines to its staff so they can correctly inform patients. My experience was truly awful. CVS staff were dismissive, rude, unhelpful, and generally unpleasant. I cannot justify using your pharmacy again. Do better.
