We happened to come upon this restaurant while walking around (an unscheduled stop) in the town of Dreux in France during the early afternoon on June 8th...and how lucky can we be! I ordered pate as my meal since I wasn't that hungry, and my son did the same. My wife and also our friend traveling with us ordered salads (vegetable with shrimp), along with the always great french bread and wine, and everything was great! The server was very polite and helpful, and the owner was very friendly, very concerned with the quality of service and dining experience, and he spoke very good English! After learning that we were from Hawaii, he commented that since opening his place, we were one of the few patrons from a place so far away... and as a parting gift, gave us a dish cloth (unused of course) from his restaurant!
