My previous experiences at this store were consistently disappointing due to the rude and unwelcoming treatment I received from certain employees. On numerous occasions, I would walk into the store and barely receive a greeting or acknowledgment. What made this even more frustrating was witnessing other customers walk in and receive a completely different level of service and attention. As a paying customer, no one should be made to feel unwelcome or that their business is not valued. Recently, I attended an LFD event at the Old Town Alexandria location, where the experience was night and day compared to Kingstowne. The employees were welcoming, professional, and helpful. The owner, who was extremely friendly and accommodating, mentioned that a highly anticipated new release would soon be available at all locations. With that information, I decided to visit the Kingstowne location to purchase the new release. Unfortunately, I was met with the same dismissive attitude I had experienced in the past. To make matters worse, the product was physically in the store, sitting on a shelf in an unopened shipment, yet the employees refused to sell it to me. I subsequently visited the Old Town Alexandria location, where I was able to purchase the exact same product without any issues. The difference in customer service between these two locations is remarkable, especially considering they operate under the same business name. I work hard for my money, and I refuse to continue spending it at a business where I am made to feel unwelcome, ignored, or treated differently from other customers. Customer service should be consistent and respectful, regardless of who walks through the door. It's unfortunate because I my experiences with the owner and the Old Town staff have been nothing but positive.
