(Something I was not planning on) I cannot say enough great things about Olga and the team she's built at Haevum. I live in Chicago and will always follow where she goes! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality, honesty, and affordability!!!!!!…read more I moved to the area from the west coast in September of 2017 and my skin did not like the weather change and the stress of relocating. My acne went full throttle as if I was 16 years old again and I desperately wanted to clear it up. I have struggled with adult acne in the past and have been on Accutane, which temporarily cleared up my skin. Accutane, however has a ton of side effects that include extremely dry skin, anxiety, and depression. I felt every one of those side effects for the 6 months that I was on it and did not want to relive that time in my life. I found that Spark Med Spa had great reviews on yelp and I am so glad I tried them out. Lana and Sasha are amazing!!! During my initial appointment I told them every therapy and regimen I had tried for my skin. They listened and carefully examined my face and discussed all my options. I started my first Laser Genesis treatment in April and received them consistently every 2-3 weeks. My skin has cleared up dramatically and I am so happy I don't have to wear an ounce of foundation on my skin to cover up any blemishes ever again! I've attached pictures for the proof. For anyone looking for a place that truly cares about your desired outcome, Spark Med Spa is the way to go! They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

I sat and waited and my appointment was only a few minutes past the specified time which is another nice bonus. Not to many doctors get you in at the agreed appointment time. He took his time and made sure I had a chance to address any issues or concerns. Dr Johnson's bedside manner is second to none and so are his staff. If you need a doctor / dermatologist no one is better than Dr Johnson. Thanks to Doc and his staff for making my yearly check seamless What a great crew !! Bob Cavaiani Chicago :)

Dr. Schemen is so incredibly thorough. His team is amazing. They are REALLY taking the time to educate patients here, which is also rare. Appointments might be long - because it's needed! Is having a 5 day patch test done exactly fun? No... but SIGN UP NOW if you have eczema or rashes! And guess what is less fun? Suffering for years, having multiple dermatologists do nothing but prescribe steroids, burning ointment or immunosuppressants when all you have to do is spend 5 days on a patch test, learn your allergens, and then avoid them and you're fine. I went to my derm who referred me and cried thanking her for referring me to Dr. Schemen because it was a MISERABLE time until they helped me. Of course, you might have a rash that's not due to a contact allergy - but so many are finding help here regardless, I think it's worth going. RUN... don't walk.
