Fantastic! I am familiar with Potter's food truck, yet I have never visited the storefront. Pasties…read moreare common in the south west of England, UK. The pies are baked with a variety of fillings from sweet to savory. I was pleasantly surprised with the setup. The space shares a home front with a very cool liquor store and then the Potter's side has all the products you would expect to see on the food truck. Serving pasties, pies, ice cream and even coffee, this shop does it all. There are some nice lunch specials which I believe come with salad, chips and a soft drink and many al la carte options. The interior is not big at all, so I recommend grabbing to go. Contrary, there are a few exterior tables outside including the liquor store patio. I opted for the pig which was pulled pork, apples, onions and coriander. It was out of this world good and reminded me of fall and a little overlap with the Renaissance Festival. Staff will heat the product up if you're dining in otherwise you can get frozen options as well. This also includes the pies. I also got one of the specialty pie slices to go and similar to above, if you plan to eat it in the moment, you will receive a thawed piece, otherwise frozen. I got the frozen, placed it in my fridge, and ate it the next day. It was also very good. While I didn't take advantage of the ice cream, I saw that you can take any pie flavor of the day and staff will mix it into either a shake or malt on your behalf. Fun!

The mandu were a little greasy, but flavorful and the tacos were awesome. A tiny bit of a kick, but by no means blow your taste buds off spicy. These guys specialize in brats & polish sausage - very good - 4 stars!…read more I found Deep Roots at the Stone Mountain Plaza, Brooklyn Park, on Food Truck Friday. They were in the parking lot outside the Stone Mountain Pet Lodge. All of the sausages & brats come from a Minnesota company: Fraboni Sausage Company in Hibbing - cool! I can testify that this is some savory and flavorful stuff. They have other foods too (see photos). But they also go the extra mile with beverages and desserts. I had a root beer float and a Hazelnut Port Cupcake - wow - great. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order from Deep Roots. The entire menu looks awesome. I'll be back. The croffle is a sweet treat you must try!…read more A croffle is a mix between a croissant and a waffle. The layered croissant dough is pressed in a waffle iron which creates a crispy, layered treat. There offer rotating flavors to try. I'm a fan of all three types of falafel they have and usually opt for the stoplight platter, which is a combination of all three. Load it up with some complimentary pickled veggies, yogurt sauce, harissa, etc. and it's a satisfying meal. Whatever you order, I'd recommend going platter vs sandwich - you'll score some bonus hummus and pickled goodies and also won't be wearing your meal once the pita inevitably releases its contents all over your previously clean clothing. Anything coming out of the deep fryer is also a safe bet - the fried cauliflower and cheese curds are anything but healthy, but are quite good. Bonus points for the consistently friendly staff and admirable ingredient sourcing.
