    Plushies!!!

So many kawaii things all in one place. We were hoping for some Sanrio plushies, but didn't come across any. There is another location at Great Lakes Crossing, but this is our favorite.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier (ID: USU202) at MINISO Novi. She was extremely rude to me and behaved inappropriately by openly flirting with my boyfriend. I chose not to say anything at the time because she appeared to have a possible disability, but that does not excuse her disrespectful behavior. My boyfriend also found her actions gross and was clearly uncomfortable with the situation. If this cashier continues treating other women the same way, it won't just hurt your store's reputation--it could eventually lead to bankruptcy. No business can survive when customers feel disrespected and uncomfortable.

Fun store, great selection, good prices. Customer service was okay (not greeted, didn't ask if we needed help). We will be back if we're in the area again.

Really cute spot! I would classify this place as a Japanese products store that serves…read morecoffee/tea/boba. They had stationery (e.g. notebooks and cards), Japanese and Korean makeup, a lot of gachapon machines, and other anime merchandise. We had a nice time browsing! The makeup section was a nice surprise. The gachapon is a bit expensive (1 token is like $2 and the machines require like 4 or 5 tokens depending on the toy) but I don't know the going rate for gachapon so maybe that's standard pricing? The drinks area is at the back of the store and there is ample seating to the side. The employee was friendly. I ordered a milk tea which was pleasant, not the best I've had but the price was very reasonable. The tapioca was interesting, irregularly shaped and chewy, and the core was a bit harder than the rest of it. My friend enjoyed her matcha. I can see this being a nice place to bring your sushi/bento from One World Market next door, grab a drink, and hang out!

Odd layout in here…read more Ordered a hot Sencha green tea and a mango bubble tea with oat milk, 25% sugar and mango and tapioca bubbles. $9.48 There's a ton of vending machines in here. Some Japanese items, so many Manga figurines and key chain charms and stickers too. The slippers and sleep gear actually looks comfortable. Lots of Japanese makeup here too. The green tea is ok. Service is quick and fast. The tapioca is so, doesn't taste ad chewy as I had hoped. The Mango bubble and mango tea is ok.

Never seem to find something when I have a very specific item I'm looking for. I ended up having to walk around the store in order to find any of the storage containers I was looking for. They have a shelf or aisle, almost full of Cricket items. We use our mighty cricket at our store for quick and small jobs all of the time. Found small tins, but no see-through top and they were about half the size of the container I was looking for. I did see some plastic containers with some colorful lids and locks on them, but still would prefer a tin container.

A staple in the arts community, this big box craft store can hold its own yet has growth areas…read more Some staff are friendlier than others but I suspect it's because they're overworked and/or short staffed. When I needed something, it was hard to locate a person working there and I ended up walking main aisles until finding someone to address my question. A worker told me some people won't show up or follow through on their scheduled interview with some not even showing up for their shift. That has to be difficult for management yet the short staff contributed to the efficiency of my trip when stopping in. The yarn selection is changing as this chain brings in "new" options following the downsizing of their former competitor. I appreciate the differing coupons available which make it possible to find items affordable. Michael's is a great option considering local craft stores often have higher prices and some crafters/projects are either not into handspun or natural fibers nor require those as a necessary material. The check-out process is predominantly electronic and card based so keep that in mind if you're hoping to use cash. I was able to find what I needed so Michael's is a solid store despite its inconsistencies in customer service.

Huge. Customer service is a foreign language at this store. It started when we went in to pick out fabrics, that part was fine, but when we had decided to go ahead with ordering it just got worse. My fault, I should have recognized that the dot matrix printer that has not been made for 20 years and the DOS based ordering system may have been indicative of inclusion into this century, It took over an hour to actually do the order, they didn't seem to care. We opted to have them come out and do the measuring ($120 charge), this occurred within a week or so, then we waited, and waited, and waited. In the past I found custom drapes to take 3-4 weeks, this order took 10 weeks, anytime we called to ask about the status, we were told that "someone in the back" had the answer to our question and she would call us. We never received a call. Finally when they did get here, the installer realized that they were 3" too short (Luckily they did the measuring not us) and had to be remade. So here we wait, no one calls us back, no idea of what is happening, and dealing with the rudest salespeople of all time and paying far more than other place for the privileged, So again, how are they still in business? I have no idea given their abysmal customer service. Avoid this place and find other vendors.
