    Plushies!!!
    Cristin G.

So many kawaii things all in one place. We were hoping for some Sanrio plushies, but didn't come across any. There is another location at Great Lakes Crossing, but this is our favorite.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier (ID: USU202) at MINISO Novi. She was extremely rude to me and behaved inappropriately by openly flirting with my boyfriend. I chose not to say anything at the time because she appeared to have a possible disability, but that does not excuse her disrespectful behavior. My boyfriend also found her actions gross and was clearly uncomfortable with the situation. If this cashier continues treating other women the same way, it won't just hurt your store's reputation--it could eventually lead to bankruptcy. No business can survive when customers feel disrespected and uncomfortable.

A pastel Sanrio explosion. You can find everything Sanrio here, along with Japanese snacks. My favorite items were the Care Bears backpacks. It connected with my inner child because I had a Care Bears lunchbox growing up. I resisted buying anything, but it would have been hard not to go wild in a store like this as a kid. Parents of Sanrio fans need to be prepared to spend a lot of money at MINISO.

I would prefer to give them a 3.5 but since that is not an option I'm going to settle on 4. They…read morewere very accommodating to a last minute reservation for 7 of us. Yet, what was really frustrating was that during the instructions in the beginning, since none of us had been to THIS specific pottery location, there was no mention of a studio fee if we stayed over our reservation time. I have been to multiple pottery painting places (mostly in IN) and this is the first that I was charged for every extra 30 minutes of studio time. (I think it was 30 min) My daughter and I were the last of the party to finish. So, all the other girls had left. The studio was not full at all either. We ended up staying I think an hour or hour and a half past the time everyone else left. Never once was this studio fee mentioned. If I had known I would have left her piece as it was or had her get something smaller in the beginning. Knowing ahead of time would have made me less irritated. I definitely will not be going back specifically because of this studio fee not being mentioned and them having one. Pottery painting is a treat for me personally as it and knowing I'm on a time crunch really ruins the enjoyment of it. The staff were nice enough, and they had a good selection of pieces to choose from as well.

They had stationery (e.g. notebooks and cards), Japanese and Korean makeup, a lot of gachapon machines, and other anime merchandise. We had a nice time browsing! The makeup section was a nice surprise. The gachapon is a bit expensive (1 token is like $2 and the machines require like 4 or 5 tokens depending on the toy) but I don't know the going rate for gachapon so maybe that's standard pricing? The drinks area is at the back of the store and there is ample seating to the side. The employee was friendly. I ordered a milk tea which was pleasant, not the best I've had but the price was very reasonable. The tapioca was interesting, irregularly shaped and chewy, and the core was a bit harder than the rest of it. My friend enjoyed her matcha. I can see this being a nice place to bring your sushi/bento from One World Market next door, grab a drink, and hang out!

Some Japanese items, so many Manga figurines and key chain charms and stickers too. The slippers and sleep gear actually looks comfortable. Lots of Japanese makeup here too. The green tea is ok. Service is quick and fast. The tapioca is so, doesn't taste ad chewy as I had hoped. The Mango bubble and mango tea is ok.

Huge. Customer service is a foreign language at this store. It started when we went in to pick out fabrics, that part was fine, but when we had decided to go ahead with ordering it just got worse. My fault, I should have recognized that the dot matrix printer that has not been made for 20 years and the DOS based ordering system may have been indicative of inclusion into this century, It took over an hour to actually do the order, they didn't seem to care. We opted to have them come out and do the measuring ($120 charge), this occurred within a week or so, then we waited, and waited, and waited. In the past I found custom drapes to take 3-4 weeks, this order took 10 weeks, anytime we called to ask about the status, we were told that "someone in the back" had the answer to our question and she would call us. We never received a call. Finally when they did get here, the installer realized that they were 3" too short (Luckily they did the measuring not us) and had to be remade. So here we wait, no one calls us back, no idea of what is happening, and dealing with the rudest salespeople of all time and paying far more than other place for the privileged, So again, how are they still in business? I have no idea given their abysmal customer service. Avoid this place and find other vendors.
